I am aware. They haven't done the work of coming by their convictions through introspection and analysis, and just do the laziest thing possible, so I don't really care what they think.

Intellectual courage counts for something in my book. Stepping outside of your own experiences requires it. Staying comfortably ensconsced within them does not.

Everything they do is driven by fear. Fear of crime. Fear of gay and trans. Fear of women having control of their bodies and privacy. I mean, how are grifting shitheads like Ben Shapiro or Matt Walsh going to continue to get paid without stoking conservative paranoia every day? No need for introspection and analysis, they have all kind of people to tell them how to act and what to think.

There's a good chance that 9/11 was orchestrated by US deep state to justify the invasion of Iraq by the public. There are so many hurting and poor people around the world willing to become martyrs just to hurt their perceived oppressors back, all you need to do is give them some weapons and encouragement (and a promise that their family will be given ample to money to ensure their livelihood when they are gone) and then turn your head the other way just for a while until it is done.

Crime reflects culture and crime rates reflect how comfortable a society is with allowing crime.

America's patience is running out. Hopefully those pushing bail reform get hip to the problem before we've ceded entire metro areas to the criminal element.
