Hey!
1. During your youth (7'ish to 18), What did you focus on the most? What activities did you like and why? What aspect of life was lax in attention?
Primarly in "intelectual" activities. Intense researching about the most various topics. Also, literature. Not very into physical activities, though I practice dance. Never paid much attention to the way I looked.
2. You're in you senior year of high school (or whatever equivalent) and you are looking back over the last couple of years. What was your favorite aspect of the schooling experience and why? Favorite subject and why?
I'd probably say being able to learn so many different things. Being able to meet new people. And the self-growth and self-discovery that came with those years.
Hm... Tough question. I really love math. But I also really like biology and literature. I don't really have a reason for liking math. I just like the rush of being able to find the solution to a problem. I like biology because I like to understand how different processes are linked to one another. It makes me think of nature as a whole. I also like all the ethical and philosophical questions that biology makes me think about. I like literature because it takes me to new and completely different worlds. I enjoy the depth and the criativity related to literature. I particularly like poetry and fantasy.
3. A couple of friends call and invite you out to a restaurant. While there, you all are pleasantly conversing and one of your friends makes a comment that irked you. What are you're thoughts and how do you respond?
I'd probably try to pretend everything is okay. However, I'm very sensitive so my friend would be able to see that I was mad by just looking at my face. My thoughts would be all over the place. Very self-centered. When I'm annoyed I need my time not talking to anyone so I can calm down and not say something hurtful. To clear my head and understand the other person point of view.
4. Your schooling is done and it's time to strike out into the world!! What sort of career do you want to go into and why?
Something innovative and not static. Somewhat stable in the sense that the wage should be good. I'd like to have a career that would allow me to live in all sort of places. Maybe a career connected to nature and animals. Also, I'd like my work to help humanity in some way. The thing that I fear most about a future job is me quiting because I find the job boring and repetitive.
5. A friend is getting married and they put you in charge of the cake. You narrowed it down to two places to make an order. The first is a bakery with whom you got a good relationship with. The other is a well-known cake maker to whom everyone goes to (your friend hints to it as well). Which one do you choose and why?
It would depend on the quality of the cake. If both bakerys had the same quality I'd go with the baker I was acquainted with. Purely out of fear they'd found out and be hurt. That seems odd, to be mad about cake but who knows... It's not because everyone frequents a certain place that that place is good. But hey if the bakery was in fact good, I'd go with the second one. The best cake possible.
6. You get into an argument with a friend/family member/co-worker. They criticize one of your personality traits. What would most likely be the focus of their critique?
My controversial nature. In the sense that I can be extremely sensitive and yet very blunt. That's often a problem. My mom often complains about me being stubborn. And my dad and brother think I just have controversial opinions to annoy and contradict them. Not true, tho.
7. It's New Years! You and your friends are out and about after a party. Being drunk, one of your friends suggests to do something....'questionable' (Nothing serious. I.e, drugs, escort, etc.). What are your thoughts and how do you respond?
Well... It depends on the "questionable" thing. If it's not something serious, I'd be somewhat reluctant, yet very very curious. So I'd probably go with them and try whatever they were up to. My reluctancy would not win over my curiosity and wilingness to try different experiences.
8. A new art gallery opens up and your friend wants to go to the grand opening. Both of you analyze all the paintings and sculptures. What about these works warrants the most attention from you? Why?
Aesthetically pleasing paintings. Such as paintings of landscapes. Also, the not so pleasing ones. The weird crazy ones. Those that let you not understanding a thing and you just can't help but to try and find a meaning to all of that. I'm not really into painting and sculptures though.
9. You have been saving up and decide to buy a new car. At the dealership, you peruse the lots. What are the criteria and factors that influence your choice? Which one would initially be your main focus?
Never really though about that because I really like how old cars look like so i'd go for one of those. The ones that look rusty and like they're falling apart. However, I'd be concerned about the price and safety of the car. Since I do not have a family of my own size would not be a problem. Maybe a big trunk would be nice if I had to travel somewhere.
10. Yep, you now have a kid (sex of your choosing)! Years pass and they are now 15 years old. You notice their personality traits are the complete opposite of how you were when at their age. Describe how they are. Describe the possible conflicts that would arise between both of you due to differing temperaments.
Extremely social kid. Egoistic, self-absorbed and not concerned about world problems. Confident and a charmer. Assertive and impulsive. One to live in the moment. Concerned with physical pleasures more than with intelectual and spiritual ones. Material and closed-minded. Well... what would go well with such a pairing? I'd say that if I had a child like that the biggest conflict would be related to freedom of mind. I just can't stand close-minded people. Trying to talk with him/her would be really hard and frustrating.
