Sixes tend to doubt their ability to know what to do in a situation and so spend lots of time preparing and simultaneously feeling unequal to the task--their sense of inferiority and dysfunction stems from this.

5's also prepare right? They just never "do". Is that the difference? Maybe relevant to the thread if OP is considering head fix between 5 vs 6 :)

LOL, it's ok. I had a really long attention span as a kid, too. Somehow that wore off as I grew up, with the end result that now I've got the attention span of a 2 year old.

That's funny! Mine's about the same as a kid, long. I changed in some other things instead. I wonder how much of that's hormonal/biological. I figured out recently that some substances reverse those changes hmm. Scary, that. Directly feeling that your brain is affected by a physical substance, so not just by your own mental control ;) I tend to be proud of my mental control and I can be like this on my own without the substances too, it's just that this direct effect is surprising. :p Anyway... Sorry for going off topic. Just wondered if this attention span thing is like that too, if it can be affected by whatever substances.

this is interesting to me. I wonder how many other people's attention span has changed as they've gotten older
