Hi I sometimes test as ISTP and also often test as INTP, now and again as ENTP/ESTP.
It would be cool if somebody could tell me what they see in these results.:nice:
I have taken this test about once a month for the last six months.

Don't sweat it.

I routinely test as ENTP; INTP; ENTJ and INTJ.

External dynamics often weigh heavier than legitimate correspondence.
If you're more comfortable with ISTP, then run with it. If not, choose something else.

Yeah I've taken a lot of other tests. Usually ISTP or INTP. I'm pretty sure I fit ISTP type best. Just curious what people saw in these results.
Well apparently ISTPs tend to get the INTP result a lot, but I haven't seen any examples of the opposite.

If I wanted to find out in person whether someone was ISTP or INTP I'd just yell "heads up" and throw a ball at their face.

obviously
you are a xxTP
allow yourself to be that
or just a ixTP
that is, until you gain more closure via observation of yourself in action
but i advise you not read any descriptions during that process
because you could possibly manifest certain functions unnaturally for the sake of closure

AvereX offers good advice.

I'd take it.

That's really good advice, thank you.

That's funny! If you threw a ball at my face I'd kick one at yours. :9436:

On many of the MBTI tests, ISTP's will test as INTP because the questions are often biased to make Intuitives seem geekier and more idealistic than Sensors-which isn't always the case. Many ISTP's are geeky idealists- they are just more practical and dislike abstract topics.

I've read that too. Good point. But if I disliked abstract topics so much I wouldn't be on a MBTI forum! :coffee:
