I should really have posted this on a Socionics based forum. But I didn't really want people alien to me probing me with personal questions.

The Mediator (SEI)

The Mediator (SEI)

SEIs are extremely attuned to the internal atmosphere of their bodies, and the external atmosphere around them in daily lives. This in effect means that an SEI knows when to raise the mood of a group or an individual on account of their ability to sense physical states of people and groups, making them especially skilled with interpersonal relationships.

SEIs have a strong connection to and ability to recognize internal physical states in themselves and others. They understand how these states are reached and are able to easily recreate or avoid them if desired.

I feel like my quadra is Delta which makes me SLI. Leading is Si, though I can understand Ni. In this test some friends choose the second one, some choose the fourth one. I am not sure of my orientation to objects, it is either Te or Fe. I get the impression I focus on explicit over implicit though.

This all leads to SLI overall. Something holds me back from deciding though. Same as istp/isfp.

Yeah, I am sure of Si. I entertained Ni as a lead because some of my friends chose A person with a unique view or vision who is good at helping others imagine and experience an unexpected side of things over A person with a high level of physical awareness who is good at helping others materialize their desires and wishes. in the test above where they ask How would your friends most likely describe you?

Te is the external dynamics of objects. Explicit. Fe is internal dynamics of objects. Implicit. I think I need to spend some time really reading this on logic/ethics.

Well, for the main difference concerning SLI and SEI, is the functions of Fe and Te. As quoted from the Wikisocion, here are how the functions work for each type:

SEI (Fe)
SEIs are sensitive to the emotional atmosphere around them, either from an individual, a group, or even from inanimate objects and their physical environment. A positive emotional atmosphere is essential to their sense of well being and inner peace, and they either try to create that atmosphere by directly influencing their surrounding, or by simply removing themselves from the situation or people that in their view is the cause of a negative emotional environment. In the former case they often use humor to lighten the atmosphere by cracking jokes and lighthearted teasing.

A SEI can also take the role of a "clown" of sorts to ensure all people are emotionally light and comfortable. SEIs are also capable of creating an intimate open atmosphere where others can be comfortable sharing their emotions or talking about their problems. SEIs also tend to mirror and heighten the emotions experienced by the group dynamically.

SEIs are generally unable to conceal their feelings because their faces are so emotionally expressive. They display their comfort and discomfort vividly, and can often be seen wearing the widest smiles or the longest frowns.

SEI (Te)
SEIs can be skeptical of beliefs, arguments, and actions that are based on external sources of information or oppose the SEI's values system. Therefore, an SEI could come off as stubborn or rigidly set in their ways. They put more trust in the expertise of someone who seems to have hands-on experience, even if limited, than of someone who demonstrates having read many books on the same subject.

They can tend to tune out lengthy text-book explanations and information that requires especially concise explanations or language that they might have a relatively vague understanding or impression of. The reason for this is because the SEI always feels that "there is much more" to dry facts and statistics.

People who are bossy and critical are disliked by the SEI because SEIs usually believe in taking action only when it is prudent for them. They are also prone to avoiding people who demand perfection because that can lead to feelings of inadequacy for the job at hand.

SLI (Te)
SLIs typically have a dry, matter-of-fact speaking style and focus on conveying accurate information rather than emotions. They like to take note of and emphasize the usefulness or uselessness of things and how well things or people achieve their intended goals. SLIs are often masters at getting the greatest return from the fewest possible actions.

SLIs place great emphasis on having high quality objects and people in the right places. They enjoy the process of analyzing and comparing different goods and services when making purchasing decisions and do not like to delegate this task to other people. They enjoy the process of assessing quality and functionality and finding the best price for the chosen option. They effectively and sparingly allot resources and discern between primary and secondary needs. They have a good sense for how much their work is worth and whether something is a good deal or not. They have little problem giving up work that brings too little return for the time and effort invested. They have no interest in careers in which they do not believe they are the best. SLIs recognize fairness and conscientiousness (or the lack thereof) in other people and try to avoid working with those who cannot be trusted to follow through.

The SLI's objective and creative motive is to find materials, localities, spaces, and actions that will engage and move the senses and produce proper sensations within people. The SLI is essentially "a person's person". However, SLIs are only keen on people from a distance, because people are objects varying in quality of nature. (They do take great pleasure in manipulating people's situational and spatial perceptions.) SLIs do not prefer doing much complicated analysis (subdued Ti) and rather enjoy the process of synthesising things they sense. They understand their entire world by identifying what causes pleasant and unpleasant reactions. When identifying these, the SLI feels a sense of power because this allows them to adapt and use objects (and people) as he or she feels need.

SLI (Fe)
SLIs feel insecure and tense in situations with loud emotional displays — whether positive or negative — as well as in any situations expecting vocal displays of feelings and passions. Therefore, SLIs try to ignore anything relating to their vulnerable function. However, it becomes most prominent when they cannot properly organise the sensations, actions, and movements of their physical world. When this happens, they will feel hopelessness and extreme loss.

SLIs prefer to have lots of time to get to know people so that they can let out their hidden passions in a safe and friendly environment where no one will judge them. These passions are tender and must be treated with respect. If they are told they are not passionate enough or are too passionate, they will take offence and hide their emotions from that person in the future. They find it offensive when people assume things about their emotional state based on their expressions, because they find such inferences are too often wrong. Instead of explaining to the person how they are actually feeling, they will get annoyed and push the person away. If an SLI feels comfortable with a person, he can go on and on about his feelings, explaining them in-depth - not anything related to his present Fe state but instead Fi opinions about people he knows and, more often than not, what he finds irritating about them (which is perhaps related to Si).

SLIs see no reason to get worked up about things. They tend to condemn people who do not control their emotional displays and "fly off the handle." They believe that people should think first about the effect their words and emotions will have on other people rather than just spilling out negative or potentially hurtful feelings as they feel like it. If someone has chewed them out in an emotional way just once, they tend to hold this incident against the person for years. To them such behavior is unnecessarily demeaning and malicious.

SLIs extremely dislike socialising (particularly amongst large groups) because they are incapable of creating and sustaining a wide range of emotions for people. They are also quite unable to deal with the painful and complicated job of organising the unpredictable emotions that they can receive from so many people at any one given time. Consequently, SLIs are often reclusive and socially unengaged despite being rather comfortable around a few people they have learned and when having one-on-one conversations on subjects in which they are knowledgeable.

I relate to Si, Te. I relate to aspects of Fe also but Te more overall. I actually relate really well to Se in that as well.

SLI seems most likely for you then. As for subtype, you could be SLI-Fe or SLI-Se (or any SLE subtype) if you happen to relate those functions, however I can't be entirely certain since I'm not too well knowledgable in socionics. If you want additional advice, I would suggest you talk with Aleksei (although he doesn't post here or at PerN anymore, so maybe nevermind about that), or [MENTION]Black Cat[/MENTION] since both of them seem to know the system fairly well.

There is no such thing as SLI-Fe or SLI-Se in the official socionics system.

There is only accepting/producing, inert/contact and DCNH (which is too specific for human nature)

I'm not clear of the difference between accepting/producing and inert/contact but they both appear the same: e.g. Fe-ENFj/Fe-EIE

DCNH is something like: D-Fe-EIE.

None of which has that system [MENTION=10919]Savage Idealist[/MENTION] mentioned.

Aleksei is not credible in socionics because his arguments are baseless as to what the theory says and it is filled with adjectives.
