Can't take the test because I got as far as having to choose whether I am "analytical" or "adventurous" and I just got bummed out having to make that choice.

Melancholic is pretty close.

Some mix of sanguine and phlegmatic. That's what I thought.

Reading up on it San-phleg is pretty accurate.

See, Athenian, it does correspond to type fairly well!(INJ=Melancholy; NF=Phlegmatic. For Wolfy, another match; once again, ISF=Phlegmatic, SP=Sanguine).
Though, for Orangey, it would actually fit INTP. I remember you used to wear that type. What made you change over?

Mel-San, yep, that's me. I think that accurately reflects my 4w3 status as well.

Pretty much the way I come out on these. Since there is no Supine, I come out higher in Melancholy (which is similar in being very reserved). Some of it also comes out as Phlegmatic. So it still is rather accurate, as close as it can be.

I didn't fit some significant parts of the INTP description, I'm directing and not informing, I'm chart-the-course and not behind the scenes, and I don't identify with Ne. The only parts of the INTP description that fit were the things dealing strictly with Ti. Once I was able to filter through N bias and disregard the stupid things in most of the ISTP descriptions, I found that it fit me much better overall than INTP.

Also, why would an INTP be choleric (at least as a primary temperament)?

I'm surprised my choleric wasn't a bit higher. I was irritated by a few of the questions/descriptions, but I tried to gauge intent the best I could.
