Films set in a specific historical period and they attempt to give a realistic portrayal of the time (Titanic, Little Women, Cold Mountain, Braveheart, Atonement, Gangs of New York, Gladiator, Anne Frank, Casablanca) I tend to mostly favor films that are considered period films
