Please describe what you mean by "not very warm but friendly".

I took it to mean that she habitually sends out Christmas cards but has no problems running over you with her car if you try to take her parking space.

(But maybe that is just me.)

Ah... then that will be Fi... So I'll agree with you with ESFP.

I appear to be at odds with some folks. Of course the reason we all came up with similar answers is because we were all given the same information, but trusting that your powers of observation and description are unbiased and accurate, there seems to be a consensus.

ISFP - agreed

2) -Very interested in intellectual things and theories
- Very interested in new things.
- Gets bored easily, needs new stimulation.

INTP
The question is whether this person is an ENTP or an INTP.
This didn't quite sound like Substitute to me, so I chose I.

3) - Very warm
- Loves people
- very flirtatious
- Very friendly
- Isn't interested in theories

ESFJ
We're not sure if she's J or P.
The "one workplace" things seems NOT seem ESFP.
The money thing could be SJ.

ISTJ - agreed

5) - Quiet
- Not assertive
- Can absorb theory well
- Not very loud
- Doesn't talk about personal things easily
- Doesn't talk about emotions
- Very well organized
- Doesn't push opinions to you
INTJ
Some folks think INTP.
"Very well-organized" made me choose J.

6) - Very kind
- Very warm
- Very friendly
- Keeps
- Takes a very good care of her looks
- Very mother like
- Very responsible
- Good in doing things from start to finish.
- Very reliable
ESFJ
Some think ISFJ, and she could be, but I had an ISFJ friend who was exceedingly shy and did not appear friendly and warm.

7) - Very attention seeking
- Quite well organized
- Very flirtatious
- Isn't too keen on theories
- Takes good care of her looks
- How things look outside is important
- Doesn't really consider other people's feelings
- Very selfish and thinks that everything's about her
- Not very warm
- Friendly
- Somewhat organized
ESTP
P or J?
"Everything's about her" is very ESTP, I thought.

I'm sorry all the descriptions are a bit unclear but that's because some of these people are old friends of mine. Their type seems almost hardest to identify. Then there are few people that I work with so I don't know much more about them.

I agree with these

1) ISFP
2) INTP: she is almost iNTP or xNTP in real life but probably a little bit more I than E
3) ESFJ or ESFP I still don't know for sure.
4) xSTJ: it's hard to decide if she is I or E. ISTJ would describe her well althought she was a bit more E as a teenager
5) INTJ would describe her well althought she might not be very strong N.
6) ESFJ: I forgot to write that she talks a lot and she is definitely E.
7) ESxJ - ESTP : She doesn't strike me as ESTP. She is not as fast moving as ESTP's seem to be. She sais she was very shy as a child so maybe Ixxx something? She seems very organized as P so maybe J? She is very hard to describe and to type. Attention needing is the key word. Maybe artisan would be her temperament type, ISFP. But she is very different from the # 1 who might actually be INFP?

Concerning #4 - my daughter thinks she's an E, though I believe she's an ISTJ. She's very relationship oriented and "needs" her friends, but when she would get home from school, she would head to her room and we wouldn't see her again except for dinner time. She needed that time to be alone, have peace and quiet, do her homework, etc.

Try the ISTP profile. They are quite shy. I have 2 in my family. They are charming, though and well liked by their friends. They usually have witty things to say.

I would be very surprised if #1 is INFP. Exercise isn't a thing they love, I don't think.

Your #7 friend could have some other issues going on that might make it difficult to determine their type.

#7 She has always been very attention seeking personality and I've known her for over 18 years! She could be ISTP but that would be weird because my husband is ISTP and he is not attention seeking at all.

I think she could be eSTJ or rather eSTj or even eStj. She doesn't seem very similar to the ESTJ's that I know. She did the jungian test and came out as ESTJ but I don't really rely on that result because allmost all of the people I know who made the test for the first time came out as ESTJ's and they all cannot be ESTJ's. They are all so different. Or then I live surrounded by ESTJ's. :shocking:

Thinking about this, it looks like most of my friends are in fact S's (even if not all of my friends were listed there and there were couple of people in my workplace included). I think I haven't actually met too many N's in my life except for my sister and couple of people at the work place.

ESTP and ESTJ are the "all about me" types, I think.

ESFP should be thrown into that mix as well.

I don't necessarily believe that ESTJ is as bad as the others, because the external organization/needs control the behavior. They are usually anal about adhering to "what makes sense" so it's not all about personal preference; they guard the process of doing things.

ESFP meanwhile is a deadly combination, because Se (the wanderlust/self-gratification) is combined with Fi (which begins as very self-centered). What we are seeing with our son now is that he flips between blatant self-centeredness and fighting for others who are having their boundaries violated. (Unless, of course, HE is doing the violating... but that's another story. ;) ) When he reaches adulthood, I hope to see a fully developed Fi "moral compass" that will limit his self-indulgence and lead him to give graciously to others.
