You mean like... Extremely closed off and afraid of people? No, I do not suffer from agoraphobia or anything like that.

That's not what I meant at all. I like some INTJs so it wasn't a negative or an insult.

You just don't seem INTJ to me, your effusiveness strikes me as extroversion. Also, I happen to know that when you first came to this site you thought you were ENFP. I know we share some aux/tert functions, but getting from ENFP to INTJ must take some work, even for Jesus. :coffee:

As I said, I have lots of wigs and costumes that are much fun to have.
I can out-ESTP/INFP/ESTJ/INTP/INTJ/ENTJ/ENFP/ISTP/ESFP/ENFJ/INFJ/ENTP basically anyone.
I've been all those types on sites. Basically, I am different people.
What I am trying to find, is that core that I spoke of.
I'm really pretty good at most things if I use it, so it becomes hard to tell.
Si is my weak point. Improving, but not awesome.

Does the INTJ tag fit you?

Also I recall having an enneagram discussion with you. I'm pretty sure you're a social instinct first; and that may have confused you when it comes to extroversion/introversion.

Possibly. I love socializing, but I need to withdraw from it pretty quickly.
I can't even stand the vent chat if there are more than four or so people in it talking :D
I'm more a one-on-one conversationist.

why is it that my first reaction to the statement "I am probably an INTJ." is "I'm so sorry!"

I don't know, you somehow give off an extrovert vibe to me- in manner of thought, not necissarily behavior.

I think in an extroverted manner, but I HATE large groups and tend to avoid going out on most occasions. Thinking outward instead of inward is what gets me- introspection just bores me to death, while reading about things outside of me, or interviewing people on their thoughts interests me signifigantly more!

You just seem to fall more into that category to me, watching your interactions and posts over the years ;)

I'd say that I do way more introspection than anything else
I'm interested in others mostly like a sociological experiment, to be honest.
I voice my mental wanderings sometimes, but I am more and more reluctant to do so because people are outraged by it.

do you see yourself involving others reactions and how you fit into society? or based on some sort of weird internal system that I don't understand?

or is this some sort of weird phase :thelook:

Can I be ENTJ then if there is a new job availiable ? :D

I'ld not argue with you Jesus if it's INTJ or ENTJ. I can imagine you as both from the little interactions once can have over an online forum and what of the two you are in the end you of all people would know the best. I see your choice as perfectly valid.

And now back to topic: Can I be ENTJ now ? :D

no entropie, you've just proven that you aren't by asking to be one instead of demanding ;)

When you come up with a great new way of doing things, are you content in writing it down somewhere, to be presented if necessary, or do you feel your work is not done until the plan has come to fruition?

Sorry. Was that answer enough? :D
I either write it down or take a mental note. I only execute some plans.
That's kind of necessary. But I definitely don't lose any sleep over "unfinished" things.

Also to tcda:
Yes... Dictatorship. All these very, very enlightening replies makes me into a reactionary tyrant, it seems. :jew:
I remember this particular slow grinding of the axis (nazi reference) from other previous times when I have changed type.
People seeing what they have always seen, until they've become used to a new idea.

Not to offend anyone, but it is a little thing I have thought of before :D
...And how INTPs hardly ever see a problem with changes if there is a thread of logic through it.
Also cool to see a few homemade rules and such. I'd like to see them explained further in detail. Preferably with some shreds of logic weaved into it, however unlikely it sounds that someone should just be able to know their type instantly.

The problem, if you are versatile like me, is that you have several sides of being.
With life being a goddamn role play, and I aware of it, it doesn't become easier finding the true self.
You could say that I have a core which I am unearthing a little at a time, and a whole bunch of wigs and costumes which I find entertaining or useful.

I know enough to know that someone will scream "INTP!!! Chameleon! They do that!".
No, no and time again no. If I am a perceiver, then the real Jesus was born out of a llamas rectum on Hawaii on the 14th of June, 1972.
I mean, the seventies was one big giant haze, but nobody is slow enough to think me a Perceiver if that person ever met me in real life.

As for an explanation of this, i'd simply like to state that Darwin said something about "survival of the fittest", meaning adaptation.
I adapt a hell of a lot without trouble. Simple as that.
It works really fine. Not like some square stereotypical gargantuan who never realizes the proverbial spoon in "there is no spoon, it is only you that is bending" is what it is.
As long as shit works, i'm happy.

ok...just in case there was a misunderstanding, what I had meant to say was "I voted for my uninformed opinion", but I am both terrible at using a typewriter, and have a computer that freezes and didn't type half of what you wrote, and sometimes I don't notice. I wasn't having a dig at you if you thought I was.

The "dictatorship of the Ni" joke was just a DotP joke, and I believe in that, so it was self-parody around a commonly shared theme, not me calling you a Nazi.

:)

Awh, shite. Most of that message wasn't even to you XD
My mistake for not pointing it out with a "To the rest:" or something.
It was directed at Usehername and a few others who seem to practice some homemade voodoo-variant of MBTI with a completely new playbook :D
I'd not mind if you called me a nazi, not that I like national socialism, but i'd take it harder if you called me liberal ;)

I've posted before that I'm highly (near-completely?) skeptical of someone who doesn't know they're INTJ from the get-go.

It seems to be the most common characteristic of INTJs--they know, and they know immediately, their type. The INxJ individuals on the forum didn't start with another type before concluding INxJ (though lots of non-INxJ people flirt with the idea of being an INxJ for a little while).

You give off an ExTx vibe to me; other than that, I'm not sure (especially because I don't know much about your cultural norms to ground your personality).

First, I don't agree with the part about being skeptical of INTJ if someone doesn't know right away. It took me a few months to figure it out.

That being said, I agree with the ExTx vibe. Not sure why exactly.
