 Definitely.

I try to explain that often with my whole theatre major in college-thing.
I'd rather perform on a stage in front of a bunch of people I don't know than sing a song in front of a handful of family/friends.
I'm so reserved IRL. Throws everyone off.:rolli:

It must be the mask of anonymity that INFJs love so much.

because its projection and not deduction or actual reasoning
not a fault on your behalf - but a knee-jerk human reaction

what reasoning do you have behind this - very interesting
right...i'm the worst about it...i don't think i can tell anything anymore...too many similarities every where i look...i need a drink.

I think I've mentioned it before, but you've never really struck me as an INFJ - at least of the many that I know. Your presentation and style remind me much more of some of the INFP's on here.

However, I also think you either deliberately make yourself seem more...abstract....than you really are, and like to seem like an enigma, or else you truly do communicate more in this manner in real life (so, if INFJ, high Ni/Fi, and not a very developed Fe (or else you choose not to focus on it), at least online). I guess of the INFJ's I know, they tend to be aim for more clarity in communication. [and can be quite wordy over the internet -- which you are not :)]

there is the Fe-Se me that is out in public
still weird, but much more digestible

the me on the interwebs is all the Ni coming out
i am not wordy because i am obsessed with being economical in communication - here or out there

as for intentional abstraction - no
