Mole began work as a literate individual in a specialised job, but the world changed, and Mole changed.

Instead of a specialised job, Mole adopted a role, called 'Mole' from 'Wind in the Willows', click on The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame: Ch. 1: The River Bank

The way from a job to a role was through a change in perception. Rather than privileging the eye, Mole gave due respect to all the other senses.

In particular Mole is exploring the haptic sense. The haptic sense is a combination of the proprioceptive sense and and the tactic sense, united by the aural sense with music.

Just as we practise the piano or meditation, Mole practises the haptic sense for four hours every second day by dancing to rock n roll and entering a haptic trance. Rock n roll is such a powerful spiritual exercise because rock n roll is replacing the phonetic alphabet which gave us 3,000 years of civilisation.

And through this practice Mole is changing his very perceptions of the world. And I understand it takes 10,000 hours of practice to become a master.

I am taking 10,000 hours to master the role of Mole.

Hi Greed, I am in The Australian National Gallery, click on National Gallery of Australia - Home .

I am standing in front of a screen, and behind me is the projector, casting my shadow on the screen, which I am capturing on my iPhone.

I first enter a haptic trance then I allow myself be taken by the extraordinary and prolific images on display. In my haptic trance I am able relate to the shapes all around me. I enjoy the shapes

I remember all images lie, and the Bible warns us of worshipping graven images. So I get under the meaning into the shapes.

    See ya.

This has always been my favorite chapter in the whole book, I think.

Don't get why you're trying to master the Mole, when you could easily just be the Mole. That way, you're able to be able to be able to be able to be a Mole.

Yes it is a lovely chapter. My favourite is, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn", click on The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame: Ch. The Piper at the Gates of Dawn

And we can judge our personality by who we are most like in, "Wind in the Willows".

I like to think there is a little Mole in each of us, except of course for the Weasels and the Stoats.
