I believe health insurance covers the full cost but still....

    Sure! Why not?!

I'm going to ask a bunch of questions, were you into track and field at school? How long have you played violin and what sort of music are you into? Traditional or like blue grass and cagin or US ballads? Do you just play by yourself or do you join any sort of circle?
I tried out for track and field, but I was too slow. I also tried out for basketball, but again, too slow for them. I ended up playing generic team sports in classes in high school (I took PE every year despite only needing 2 years of it) but was never on a team of any sort.
I've only started learning the violin.. I bought it last year and sporadically played, but have been more consistently trying in Dec of this year. I don't even know all the strings yet so I don't know what kind of violin music I like to play, but I like cajun and classical melodies. I play by myself and am learning off of youtube.

How long have you done HEMA and what is your most favourite and least favourite part of it? What melee weapons do you own or specialise in? Have you anything to say about binding and winding ?
I've been doing HEMA for over a year now. June of 2016 is when I started. My most favorite part is everything about it except my least favorite part which is the price of doing it. HEMA is an expensive sport. By far the only hobby I've ever held that is expensive. I specialize in Montante and Longsword. Binding and winding are excellent ways to remind yourself you secretly hate shoulder muscles.

What is one thing about yourself that others dont know? (I once answered this wrongly, I felt I answered it wrongly, at a team building event and so I try to subject others to the discomfort of the question) What positions of responsibility have you held in the last six months? (this is an awkward interview question and CV component because those are the last threads I created)
Hmm.. Lots of things about me no one knows! Here's one that's pretty minor: I actually am quite proud to be the red head of my generation (every generation of my family has had one as far back as anyone can remember) and my hair has been slowly browning with age, and I get pretty self conscious about it sometimes. It makes me irrationally angry when people mistake my hair for being brown as it isn't the vibrant red it once was. It is the only thing about aging so far that I've been truly upset about.

I hold many positions of responsibility, I tend to volunteer myself for far too much .. I am the co-chair of the night shift council at my work this year, I just became a patched (aka voting) member of my HEMA school + I just became part of Prime (our fighting team that goes to tournaments), I'm about to orient to progressive care floors and take on even more floors of the hospital, and in the spring I'll be a youth instructor for HEMA at my school.

I apologise if I've been rude to you since you've been on the forum I dont remember if I told the last member of the month that, I probably should have, I dont always keep track of who I'm offending or if I'm offending people
Haha I don't tend to take all rudeness personal as I can be quite brash and rude myself.. I cannot ever recall anytime you've been anything less than a gentleman, so I suppose you're off the hook there!

Oh yeah, rabies shots are incredibly expensive.. I've also wasted a round of rabies shots: I had to work in Africa clearing out caves where homeless people would escape the heat and sun, but colonies of bats lived in those caves and rabies was becoming a public health issue, so we'd go in everyday and sweep all the homeless out that tried to sneak in. We had to wear our hazardous materials gear and get rabies shots to do that detail.

Funny enough, we had a bat in our home just the other night! We hadn't been in the house in a few days, and it had escaped the cold. We were told by the vet clinic to just leave it in a warmish place (it was only 5 degrees out!) with escape routes like an attic with a vent open or a shed with a window open. We ended up building a little wood hut to protect it from the cold with plenty of avenues of escape and put the cardboard box in it.

The noises bats make are so incredible, it's like little sparks of electricity. Like teeny tasers going off. I was full of tears because it was so adorable and I was scared it'd get cold outside before it found its home.
