Ooooo what part of PA?
I'm particularly interested in politics and psychology, which I think is a dandy combination that really allows one to understand
things like propaganda.
I'm very introverted and very intimate, so I guess I'm sort of a Romeo looking for his Juliet(as lame as that sounds).:rolli:
So far, I haven't had much success...
Not to be bitter, but I kind of hate society, so I'd really like to find someone and just disappear with them.
I like nature, with space and privacy. I'm not thrilled about living in a city right now.
And I completely agree with getting away from it all. Not so much that I hate society as much as I just feel I don't fit in and therefore can't thrive in it.
I guess I'll finish by saying that an Australian girl once told me that I was "strangely fascinating" and I love that.
That is how I always want to be perceived.
Strangely fascinating.Forming characters! Whose? Our own or others? Both. And in that momentous fact lies the peril and responsibility of our existence. - Elihu Burritt

haha about the backhanded compliment.
I got the 'I haven't really met anyone else like you' from someone recently, and then my best friend told me this year I am unique. I don't mind hearing this at all these days, and DO consider it a compliment, but the first time I received this 'compliment' from my mom when I was a teen just made me feel really uncomfortable and like I was weird or something. Because she didn't elaborate. It was more a...'Well, you're certainly unique......'
Reverse intro for me? Well, I have a habit of making very long-winded responses on web forums.
Something 'new'? Well, from age 8-14 I spent a considerable amt of extracurricular time doing ballet. But by 14, it had become too painful and my joints just weren't cut out for it, so I quit.
I also never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I went to college because it was just the next step, but I had zero notions/plans of what I was going to do once I was OUT of college. It was very hazy, and choosing a major was a matter of anxiety for me."...On and on and on and on he strode, far out over the sands, singing wildly to the sea, crying to greet the advent of the life that had cried to him." - James Joyce
