I'm married, with three children, and work as a technical writer... which I do mostly to pay the mortgage because I don't know exactly how to convert my other skills and creativity into a goldmine.
Over the long painful years, I have failed at writing a novel, publishing an inspirational book, becoming a professional songwriter and/or musician, kicking off a RPG company, becoming a cartoonist, and replacing the bathroom sink in my house without soaking down the floor.
Then again, I have succeeded at becoming a moderator here at MBTIc.
(So I suppose my doom is ensured.)
I tend to get into just about anything that seems interesting or quirky. When I'm not obsessed with working on my computer, posting on forums, or playing WoW, I actually enjoy long exploratory bike rides and arduous hikes, often by myself. If I had another life to live, I'd consider being an alpine climber.
My taste in books began with fantasy and horror but has mostly dropped into non-fiction titles in fields such as psychology, philosophy, personality theory, biography, random science, mythology and folklore, culture, and whatever catches my eye. I am also an excellent bluffer, convincing people I know things about books and posts I have never actually read in totality.
To conclude, I chose Stefani as my Apprentice pick, and she won, so I'm rather satisfied with my life for the next 20 minutes.
Welcome!

Um. You're scaring me just a little, but welcome!
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I guess next time I write a bio, I should tell the truth?

It's just the Apprentice thing . . .

This season sucked. It used to be interesting -- I enjoyed analyzing the personalities and how they interacted, and trying to guess who would come out on top.
Now the shows seems more campy and irrelevant; and without Carolyn and George to give Trump some anchor, his gut-instincts don't seem to be as honed."Hey Capa -- We're only stardust." ~ "Sunshine"

Hey Fortunato, I never knew you were a brother of the dice! Cool.
Isn't it time for a colourful metaphor?
