Welcome.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Wow, I'm impressed! Those are some obscure names... Of those, I've only played Ragnarok, AO (Beta-ed, I was quite active before it came out, and had a giant rant at the developers for AO. I agree with everything you said, I had dropped out reallly early because of it) and EQ. Friends play Saga of Ryzom, but I never did.
I still play WoW with GF, as well as some occasional GW... I liked stuff like Eve (and Mankind wayyyy back when)...
But overall, I'm with you on the 'people suck'. I play WoW with my GF, and some of the stuff we've been whispered when people find out we are a couple is disturbing. Very disturbing. Especially from those that are like 13-14.

Hi Kyrielle! :hi: Cute avatar... somehow I like it better than the saimese (spl?) fighting fish .
Never thought you were a gamer... I agree that it's a completely different atmosphere in a game forum. Most of the time they don't make any sense x-X

I feel the love.
Yes...I can imagine it. I've dealt with some of these things in Runescape. I play that game, admittedly, but I follow my boyfriend's advice to play it every month or so for an hour just to appreciate the community in other games. It's kind of like those slides that go: "This is your brain." *click* "This is your brain on drugs."
Hey. =)
I tend to really admire people who go into interior design/architecture/industrial design...I'm not very good at drawing in a draftsman type of style, but I love the look of it. There's something that can be said for such clean and careful drawings.
What do/did you study?
