I would have thought he was a 4 too but she did provide good reasons.

I'm wondering if maybe George was a 1w9, which might explain the connection so many people see to 4. There's an arrow connecting 1 to 4. And 1s are idealistic (of course everybody in that generation was/is idealistic).
