I think her overall point of extravert-object energy derivation and introvert-subject energy derivation is excellent.

I do think it's important to point out that extraverts can get drained by people, too, just not for the same reason an introvert would. We still can be stressed by the demands of the situation. In other words, I think it's a very different experience to be IN a crowd, interacting with people in a crowd, versus performing or leading a crowd. The former is natural for an extravert (though even we can get overstimulated eventually) but the latter does not necessarily have much to do with extraversion. Fe or Te would probably be more useful.
