    I am the Cat who walks by themself; and all places are alike to me...

    For the cat is cryptic,
    and close to strange things which men cannot see.
    They are the soul of antique Aegyptus,
    and bearer of tales from forgotten cities in Meroë and Ophir.
    They are the kin of the jungle’s lords,
    and heir to the secrets of hoary and sinister Africa.
    The Sphinx is their cousin, and they speak her language;
    but they are more ancient than the Sphinx,
    and remember that which she hath forgotten...

    FINALLY! @The Grey Wizard and @Population: 1, I have something to contribute in this thread, and as a previous comment of mine said, this post is in thanks to the relationship to the How are you feeling thread. Went about it ALL wrong, all I had to do was wait for a strong enough emotion to strike, assemble a montage of visuals that would describe this place, and here you go! Enjoy. I still can't for the life of me, label what emotion(s) this translates to.

    This pic is from a study where 250 people were asked to draw where the felt certain emotions are located on their bodies and then they overlaped the drawings:

    Is that what you're trying to do?

    Fair enough, but do you have anymore emotional aesthetics to add?
