Pisces Sun/Moon Leo Rising; From Within: Part I....

I am the Cat who walks by themself; and all places are alike to me...

    For the cat is cryptic,
and close to strange things which men cannot see.
They are the soul of antique Aegyptus,
and bearer of tales from forgotten cities in Meroë and Ophir.
They are the kin of the jungle’s lords,
and heir to the secrets of hoary and sinister Africa.
    The Sphinx is their cousin, and they speak her language;
but they are more ancient than the Sphinx,
and remember that which she hath forgotten...

I am no bird, and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being with an independent will.

I was quiet, but I was not blind.
I would always rather be happy than dignified.

I love these! All of them!

    (1) Appennino

I looked up the first one and found history on it. The statue's name is Appennino, named after Italy's Appenine Mountains. Built late 1500's by sculptor named Giambologna, location park Villa Demidoff, grounds of the Villa di Pratolino, Tuscany. "The monster that his left hand holds spewed water from an underground stream, and it is rumored that space in his head was made for a fireplace which, when lit, would blow smoke out of his nostrils." There are rooms and grottoes carved into him, so you could go inside. (Don't know whether the interior of the statue is open to the public or not.)
Info and more pictures, including pictures of the rooms inside him:

Even though he's Appennino, his own statue-man, you could also view him as representing Chronos/Saturn, my Mid-Celestial Whateveritscalled point (Mid-Heaven).

    (2) Skulls, with Moss and Ferns

With all due respect to the people who died.
    Legacy, History, Death, and Regeneration

    (3 & 4) Ocelot Lurking in Bushes / Duckling's Butt

North node & South node. (3) How beautiful! (4) How cute! LOL!

    (5) I call this one: Orpheus as a Child,
or Captain Picard as Kamin on the planet Kataan, but as a Child

I'm going with the eventual attempt to rescue Eurydice from the underworld. As you see in this image, we are practicing. Practice makes perfect.

Those are so beautiful! These are my favorite!
