There is no mysterious essence we can call a 'place'. Place is change. It is motion killed by the mind, and preserved in the amber of memory.

I enjoy taking in and valuing a broad range of aesthetics. What I personally relate to is a subset of what I enjoy and appreciate, but the underlying principles present in what I value are originality and authenticity.

For art, this is the painting that means everything to me right now, and I plan sometime to design clothes based on it. Gustav Klimt's love Emilie was actually a fashion designer who helped pioneer the 1920's frapper style.

The most beautiful thing I have seen lately was last night on a plane flight around a thunderstorm that had clouds sixty thousand feet tall. We had to take a long route flying around the storm system and there were these walls of clouds lit up with a lightning storm. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life, and there were only a handful of people on the plane watching. I am equally amazed and saddened by that. I felt like an astronaut descending the clouds of Jupiter as a comparison for how unique, unimaginable, special, and magnificent it was to witness.

The above is my favorite painting too.

    My 'people skills' are 'rusty'.
Pardon me, but I have spent the last 'year' as a multi-dimensional wavelength of celestial intent...
