Hahahaha, I think XXFP is possible...based on the results. It is strange to say the least, it thinks I am an EXFP more so than an IXFP even though my Fi, Ne, Ni, and Te says otherwise. It says that I might be an ENFP... but the temperament practically state that I'm more likely an SP. Make up your mind! :tongue10:

I found this little snippet interesting though.

Problematic Definitions of N
In our work, we have found that a vast number of_ S_Ps select "N" responses rather than the "S" responses on the MBTI® , Their behavior and reports have been taken as typical of those with a preference for N. Because of not using the added information in the temperament model or not paying close attention to Jung's definitions and Myers descriptions, the observations of people with _S_P preferences have filtered back into the mainstream definitions of N. When we go back to Jung's descriptions, we find these descriptions have veered off course from the original meaning.

with Si as low as it is... i'd rule out INFP. ENFP, could be a possibility, though, if not ISFP. you're Te is much better than the rest of us on this test, which is an ENFP's tertiary function.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ESFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Sensing (Se): Immersing in the present context. Responding naturally to everything tangible you detect through your senses. Checking with what your gut instincts say. Testing limits and take risks for big rewards.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ISFP, or ESTP

This looks suspiciously INFP.

57.1?

Shit, I didn't even know it went that high...

What do ya expect from Jeffster? :rofl1:

with Si as low as it is... i'd rule out INFP. ENFP, could be a possibility, though, if not ISFP. you're Te is much better than the rest of us on this test, which is an ENFP's tertiary function.

Still when you look at the rank for the 4 functions between XXFP, it goes like.
extraverted Sensing (Se) *********************************** (35.1) [2]
good use
introverted Sensing (Si) ****************** (18.5) [5]
limited use
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) ************************************ (37) [2]
excellent use
introverted Intuiting (Ni) **************************** (28.8) [3]
average use
extraverted Thinking (Te) ************************ (24.5) [4]

average use
extraverted Feeling (Fe) **************************** (28.8)
average use
introverted Feeling (Fi) ****************************************** (42.1) [1]
excellent use

It seems more... likely it would at least be
[1]Fi
[2]Ne Se
[3]Ni
[4]Te
[5]Si

Closely resembling IXFP except for that fact that Si is... down there. I would sort of expect it to say ISFP or INFP when you look at it that way.

There's something going on with Se and Ne on this test...

I think people are reacting to those prompts as if they're referring to the same thing...

I would probably discount the Ne, and say your test indicates ISFP, considering how well everything else lines up...

Countrygirl got 59.2. That is off the charts Fi. I was kind of surprised at how high Fi was for everyone. For some reason I expected Se to be close or even higher. Though that doesn't make much sense...

Mines sort of close. I mean, Se and Ne would be auxiliary functions after all. :D

And, wow, I just noticed that lol. 59.2.

:cheese:

Now someone explain to me what that means in real life. I was more concerned about my non existant Te/TI.

After reading the posts on Fe/Fi in the hot sex thread, then doing that test, I'm not surprised that I scored so high on Fi.

Doesn't age also play a role? Since at different stages of life the functions become developed?

I think the Auxiliary function starts to develop around the teens

The Tertiary function starts developing at around the twenties

And the Inferior/Aspirational function develops... whenever (don't think there was a set time frame.... probably those mid-life crisis sort of incidents can potentially trigger developing it more.)

The inferior is often considered to develop post-30s, but it can happen before then, depending on the circumstances.

The tertiary is often considered to develop from about 20-40.
