pretty much anything involving a potato (irish descent showing here? )
bacon
bacon cheeseburgers
gyros
lamb biryani
green thai curry
black beans and rice
ham fried rice (totally wrong, but delicious nonetheless )
and for the least exotic thing on the list... my dad's tuna casserole that's LOVE!

hey, it's a thread on comfort food, not haute cuisine!

plus... as far as cuts of steak go, I love the texture of filet, but the flavor isn't as "beefy" and delicious as you can get with other cuts, so in my opinion you might as well add some flavor so that there's SOMETHING there to taste

I loved the picanha, or rump cover steak from grass fed cattle that I got to eat in South America the best... I have problems finding it here though- that meat had FLAVOR!

I agree, I LOVE bacon!

I couldn't even tell what my favorite foods are. I really just go with what I'm craving at the moment. So today a bacon cheeseburger could be my favorite, but tomorrow seasoned broccoli could be my favorite. I'm unpredictable .

I love, love, love anything spicy, garlicy, or oniony. Mmm...
Eggs, scrambled with a few veggies and soy sauce and garlic, thrown on top of some steamed rice with sarachi sauce. OMG. If you haven't, try it sometime.
I pretty much really enjoy eggs, too. Omelets with a shit ton of onions, tomato and tobasco sauce and salsa. Yum.
I'm a vegetarian... so I super duper enjoy egg, veggie sausage, and cheese biscuits.

French fries! Baked potatoes! Garlicy, mashed potatoes!

These are often my go-to foods.

I love food. I'm happiest when eating, which is probably a bad thing. I like many things.

My favourite is probably waffles covered in custard and assorted fresh fruit, from my favourite restaurant.

Also:

fruit (all, I think) and berries (especially blueberries and blackberries, if properly ripe)
pecan butter tarts
whipped cream (not the fake stuff)
real potatoes cut into french fries (i.e. not the processed type)
poutine made from those fries
broccoli, green beans, asparagus and similar textured greens (really)
pancakes and waffles but only with real syrup
plain yogurt with good granola and fruit
potatoes - fried, mashed, baked, etc
sweet potatoes, 10000x more than real potatoes
sushi (not really sashimi though, though it's edible)
milk, and chocolate milk,, and hot chocolate, and mocha, and tea and coffee!
fresh krispy kremes (regular), though i haven't had one in years (none in my city)
pho and half-decent spring rolls
and so on, and on, and on...

I do like bacon (and eggs) but it wouldn't make it on my list of favourites, really. Sorry to ruin the theory.
