I don't like conflict. People argue over petty stuff. It would be much better for people to let the petty stuff go and learn to communicate more effectively. Most conflict arises as a direct result of poor communication.

You know, normally I would say that I avoid conflict. But yesterday I had a conversation with a co-worker about something that made me aware that sometimes I take some pleasure in conflict. I think this fits with the SP temperament pattern of getting bored if nothing exciting is happening. And conflict can be exciting. Just not too much of it too often.

In theory I embrace conflict, I'm always keen to understand why someone else values or sees things differently but if people can't discuss differences in a calm manner then I just don't bother, unless everyone stays calm nothing gets resolved.
