The time code is how long I took to process what I wanted to say.

Sorry, not porn (again).

ISFPs, what do you think about ENTPs?

I'm a big fan of ISFPs, actually. One of my best friends is one; great fun.

Some questions:

What's your general thoughts about ENTPs?

Annoyances?

What do you think of the many ridiculous ideas we have?

Are we soulmates? Feels so.

Much thanks to those who answer.*

I'll elaborate on this later (I'm writing a paper at the moment), but I agree on the soulmates thing. It makes sense if you're into socionics.

*waits for socionics and SF bashers*

(Secretly and seriously interested in this thread, but realizes there is an ENTP invasion taking place)

Okay fine, make me do all of the work.

I like ENTPs for a number of reasons. I do like the sense of imagination. I like the constant useful ideas that are spouted out. ENTPs provide the ideas, I use my practicality to see how they actually apply and force them to stick to the best idea. I get very reassured when I get an idea of how the future could/will play out.

My Te is also terrible. Awful. Most ISFP's Te will be bad. We are very self conscious about being factually inaccurate and appearing stupid. ENTPs seem to be able to flawlessly correct me and ease in corrections, making me not have to really worry about anything. I can always ask an ENTP a question and not really have to worry about appearing stupid (unless they suck).

As for what the ENTP gets out of it, an ENTP needs to be grounded. IS_Ps are very grounding and practical. The "go with the flow" attitude of the ISFP will often balance the mental wanderings of an ENTP in a time of worry or crisis. ISFPs are very good at making people feel good and well provided for with practical needs and necessities, and a scientist like the ENTP is pretty bad about being aware of those things. ENTPs are also terrible at knowing their relations to people and how they affect others generally. ISFPs aren't really offended by this, since knowing that someone means well is enough for us. Just like you ease in logic, we ease in how you should treat someone in a given situation or what you did wrong people wise.

Both ENTPs and ISFPs are very worried about having their own lives in a relationship. I want certain areas to be my own, and to have certain areas that I share with my mate. AFAIK, ENTPs are like this as well. I hate to appear clingy, and I hate for my partner to appear to be clingy. Also, ISFPs are willing to try just about anything in bed generally, and we enjoy new innovations in general. So apply that to romance. ;)

And shared P. This goes without speaking. Because of this we will have similar goals and a similar way of life and decision making.

Etc.

Second paragraph should be Ti, not Te.

Edit: I noticed I probably should've done this differently... But I'm not an ENTP, so whatever.

I was telling my friend the same thing yesterday, satan went against the status quo.

Silly boys. Satan was no P.
ESTJ all the way.
He was pissed because God upset the status quo and accepted those imperfect humans.
Which is why the greatest sin is pride....thinking that others are beneath you...that they are not worthy to join the club.
Jesus was an ISTP.

That is a interesting explanation, but a ESTJ usually will try not to go against established laws old and new especially created by the highest authority (GOD), and I would guess most ESTJs thrive on ORDER, causing chaos in Heaven by starting a war on GOD and then proceeding to troll the human race by handing the apple to Eve in the garden doesn't sound very ESTJ-Like. Its almost like a kid jumping into a sandbox and just kicking down all the sand castles, then proceeding to piss on it. I definitely can imagine this being the actions of an vindictive ENTP rather then a upset ESTJ.

Also what makes Jesus an ISTP? he seems to be more of a INFJ.

He was a carpenter. Ultimate artisan.

In McRumi's version of the New Testament, Jesus turned water into automatic weapons.

Turning water into wine a perfect example of ISTP in-the-moment problem fixing. Multiplication of the loaves as well. Plus he liked racing donkeys.

Can definitely see ENTJ. In fact, I have met a few ENTJs who could easily be confused with Satan.

Yeah, but it's not like he exactly had a choice in the matter- it was his father's trade.

Although I'm not sold on the INFJ idea either. But still, he seemed a little too spacey, not in the real world enough to be an ISTP. I think of Jesus as a carpenter and I visualize him accidentally hammering the nail into his palm. Joseph just kind of rolls his eyes and Jesus thinks, "some how I know this is really ironic, but I'm not sure why..."

Didn't he spread leprosy, too?

Props to Blackcat for answering my question.
I think Jesus stole the limelight in this thread.

Of course he had a choice.

Spacey? No evidence for that.

In midst of every crisis, he is the only one who is calm and trouble-shoots perfectly.

When he states that "everyone is my brother, everyone my mother," it's a quintessential ISTP statement.

All his miracles are in the moment...very sensate...and his teachings are completely practical: you will know them by their fruit.

And look at the enormity of the problem he fixed with his cruxifiction. The ultimate trouble-shooter.

As Mary Magdalene said: I don't how how to love him.

ISTP all the way.

You can argue that everyone is an ISTP that way...
