Fi is deep, but it's a private pool, no one else is allowed to swim in it.

Unless they're hot.

We are extremely deep.

We are masters of gleefully enjoying the here and now, but that doesn't mean we don't have a trove of inner thoughts, feelings, and ideas.

I think the meaning of "depth" is as subjectively defined as "love" by most.

Even a sociopath can tell a person that they love them.

And on the same note if an overly complicated person with poor communication skills accuses SPs of not having any depth, maybe that is just a reflection of their own excessive complexity?

S/N differences here can play a big part in things.

I know I don't feel the need to talk alot, but my wife feels alot better when we do, so I acccomodate that. The fact that makes her happy keeps us both happy, and because I was willing to discuss things that were on her mind "in depth" WHEN she wanted to, it allows her to then cut me loose to be my happy-go-lucky goofball self again for awhile until she wants to talk again.

Know yourself, know your peeps, and keep your tribe together. ;)

Thinking outside the box?

The water is hot. Careful you don't burn your toes.

I'm as deep as a paddling pool.

We have the most depth of appreciation for sensory sensations.

The phrase sensory sensations rolls off the tongue beautifully.

See what I mean? The other types wouldn't appreciate that beauty so deeply.

Depth comes in many flavours.

I do find SP's typically don't care much to talk about or share their depth of character like NF's or NT's would. And living in the moment usually means SP's are as deep as the moment allows them to be, instead of drawing on the past and particularly future plans. It's there but it doesn't show in communication quite so much.

Don't believe what anyone tells you about yourself, esp. the internet.

Yeah, the internet keeps telling me that I've won the UK lottery, but they never send me my money.

Some of us are complex on the outside, some are complex on the inside.

edit: when I say us, I mean people in general not just SPs.
