I know how to dress up for going on a night out with friends :D But during the day, my trademark outfit is a pair of jeans, and a stretchy tank-top. Comfy... but not too sloppy (right?)

I've always enjoyed clothing that fits my form well. That's comfort to me. It feels snuggly. I don't see the point in excess.

Question (please help me understand):

from what women have posted here it sounds like if I were to spot you in a crowd, you would be dressed casually, without making a personal statement by clothing? sp women are not typically interested in what they wear?

sp men otoh are more into fashion, perhaps, wearing trendier clothes, wanting to look sharp?
