i am a network engineer, but i think it sucks!

some other jobs i am considering:

professional card player
bartender or bouncer
mechanic

i would rather be a bartender than a bouncer, but a good bartender is a bit of a bouncer as well.

i think owning/operating a bar would be more interesting to me.

Dude! My parents live in Reston, VA! I went to high school there, and went to GMU for 2 years before moving to Florida in 1994. Great Falls is where Christopher Reeve broke his neck, and it is also where Linda Carter ("Wonder Woman") lives.

No, I've never even seen it, but I know exactly the stretch you are talking about! Series of big ledges in a big, wide river.
