I know this is futile and probably won't yield any useful results but does anyone know of any sites for ISTPs or ISxx types or S friendly MBTI sites? I've heard "Go to a car site cuz ISTPz lurvz carz lolz" but I hate cars.

I'm just getting really sick of the INxx echo chamber/circle jerk that MBTIc is but I still want someplace to discuss MBTI without all the E and S bashing.

I'm not an MBTI buff or anything, bullshitting about type is just what interests me at the moment.

I started a search in google after reading your post. Most all of the sites I know about related to MBTI are N-dominated.(MBTInebulous,similarminds, INTPc/INFPgc) If you are interested in some of the other theories and not just MBTI alone (or even mostly) perhaps these could help:

the16types.info :: Index

people orientation

(this one doesn't have much activity yet from what I noticed).

I have seen a decent number of S types on similarminds-but I don't think it is much different. I hope you find something you like. Good luck.

Now come on, Sassa. Sensors don't talk about type because they have better things to do.

If you want to observe sensors, try these forums, which probably represent the highest online concentration of ISTPs.

As for MBTIc, the disdain is irritating but understandable, as a lot of N-types here are still daily taking wedgies and noogies. Myself, I am surrounded by S-type professionals at work and have never felt more secure.

I hope you stay with this site and try to make it S friendly.

Just curious, what drew you to MBTI?

I am incredibly skeptical of it, but I have a strange fascination with it as a theory, and how people try to apply it.

What do you mean by "echo chamber"?

Edit: for what it's worth, as far as I can tell INTPs and INTJs have a mutually appreciative yet slightly wary truce that I would hardly classify as a "circle jerk". Also, I have never, not once, in my time on this board written anything disparaging or condescending towards Ss, but thanks for unceremoniously clumping all INXXs together in that nature of group regardless of our personal behavior.

There are none. There used to be an ISTP.ORG site years ago, however it has not been around for some time. As for the examples given, 16types.info is a Socionics board and you would find it of no interest after learning all you can about type. I will PM you with a site, if you are interested in learning about type.

Most of the ISTP websites are really short and poorly explained whereas INTP or INTJ sites are the volume of a novel.

I really want to make a porn joke here, but it may be in bad taste.

Ha! You're a funny person.

I'd recommend looking on ENFP forums.
ISTPs are bound to come up.

Hell. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a subforum dedicated to us.
With flowers and candles and shit.

...Dog biscuits.
That's all ya get.

*raises eyebrow* To train you properly with, you mean?

I'll keep it in mind for when I want to try my hand at a fixer-upper.

*goes back to INTJs*

...at least they know the basics already :coffee:
