This is definitely one of the reasons I like SJs. The entire second page there is no new negativity at all. :)

EDIT: Forget that, somehow I skipped over Saslou's post. Meh. Still seven negative posts in this entire topic isn't too bad.

I agree, I hate it when someone I'm relying upon is late. Wasting my time, and in general, I'm not a patient person so I hate waiting.

 i have a really good ISFJ friend and I HATE when I'm late with her because I know it bothers her the most specially since when we're meeting somewhere she wont go inside until I'm there. It makes me feel even worse because she gives me that " I'm so disappointed in you" look.. I'm getting better at it by leaving 45 minutes before i have to meet her. I'm usually early now :D yay me!

SJs wouldn't have much to do without the other 3 temperaments. Even though we are the glue, you need something to glue together. :p

And what wonderful glue you are.

 .. Oh shit.

People who are fluffy. (NF's)

People who give opinions but leave them open ended and with to much emotion. (Nf's)

People who just enjoy debating the OP's original question and noone actually coming to a bloody fooking conclusion .. Jesus christ people, sort it out already (OK, just taken medication, i am OK now, lol) (NT's and NF's)

People who walk around in sandles ((fooking hippies) NF's and SP's)

People who think they are clearly God .. NO, INTJ's you are not god .. Get over it. (Ohhhh, maybe INTJ's)

People who wish they were god (ENTJ's)

People who don't live life but think of crazy invention to make them rich. Get a job (yes, you ENTP's)

INTP's .. Just hold down a bloody job OK.

People who cry over this as they are unable to take a joke (INFP's)

ESTP's annoy the hell out of me .. They are to busy living and enjoying life to read this shit. If they are, get outdoors and shag a bush or something. *sigh*

Who have i missed out.

That's about it, i think.

We SJ's rock. We are the glue, now get high off us. Wooo Hoooo.

i hate it when there's a topic and everybody has to put their 2 cents in that lead to things that have NOTHING to do with the OP. It confusses me so bad and it kinda stresses me out. They can be so knit picky about our oppinions.
like, its GOOD to know what you believe in and have a hold on that. It means that you wont be side tracked by every little thing people say. but alot of other types seem to have their heads in the clouds and believe you HAVE to be open minded about EVERYTHING! I'm sorry i dont agree with that.

I am going to disagree with you there. When someone derails the thread somewhat, it can be a good thing as long as it has something to do with the OP's question and i am guilty of doing that.

Knit picking can be misconstrued as misinterpretation. A few N's have openly said they do not understand S's .. I don't think that is a bad thing as hopefully they can meet an S IRL and work on those communication issues.
Surprisingly, as long as both parties are patient and openminded, then it isn't really a big deal.

You have to be openminded in life. Who ever said that the views/opinions we hold are gospal? I actually like the fact i am openminded enough to hear what others say and if there view is better than mine, then i'll take it on board.

Concrete is fine .. However it does sometimes need to be wet concrete that hasn't set yet. ;)

lol, no no no. i mean derailing...like when something totally off the subject comes into play in the threads. i understand sometimes we need to stray off a bit to figure out what needs to be said and such. lol i just get irritated when i see a thread that says "how to be a better ISFJ" and actually, the thread is full of stuff about "what kind of man hands you like best" or something random like that. i wanna know about the information that was stated and get sad when no one is talking about that :(

i hear what your saying. i suppose the point i was getting as is that i get so tired of having my views oppressed upon. I have people who think and believe they're wiser and smarter than me, try to convince me im wrong. it just hurts to have alot of judgement put on you for a belief of how i think my life should be run. and yes, open mindedness IS good to have, i just dont understand the obsession our nation has with it. it seems that so many people just wanna trash eachothers view points and then turn around and say others arent being 'open minded'. i almost see it as an excuse alot when someone doesnt know what to say when they disagree with someone.

my thought is that i need to have my feet on the ground, but its good to dance around in different things as well. You need to know what you believe in and have a stand in that and then you can look at other things and see how they come into play in your life.
change is good and openning your eyes to the world around you. just have respect for others is really what im getting at. no respect=major irritation to me.

oops, i think i just strayed away from the point of this thread. just smack me, i totally went against what i said x/

*hands out a precription for some opiate based medicine* lol

I get where you are coming from and i am not trying to criticise .. HOWEVER, lol, in the grand scheme of things, is it really important if someone derails a thread? People are just interacting with each other on a particular thread that may have nothing to do with the OP. They are working on their socialising skills. (if i was an Eskimo, i think i could sell myself ice/snow)
Take the tablets and come and see me in a week, ;)
Lol

I get this. A person's view/opinion should never get shot down because someone else thinks they are better/smarter etc. Helping someone see something from a different perspective is not necessarily oppressive though.

Bear in mind especially on this site, we are the minority. We can take things at face value, give an opinion and leave it at that. N's enjoy (i think) taking apart the OP and analysing it because they seeing every eventuality of the senario given (again, i think). lol

Oh babe .. You just said the magic word .. dance. :D
Again i agree with what you are saying. Respect means a lot to me as well. People just have different ways of showing their respect to another. Others don't have any respect at all. Their tough luck. :)

I'll just increase your medication darling ;)

Lol .. You just said it yourself .. Rules are meant to be broken. That includes everyone else as well.

Just so you know, i am not trying to get on your case.

I agree again. Respect is a minimum, even if you are at odds.

I'm curious what you dislike about INTJs. The whole thinking we are God thing is interesting, because I don't think i'm God.

I do think that the majority of SJ (ESTJ especially) types are lacking in imagination, innovation and the ability to think outside the box.

Having said that, I think that you are some of the most dependable, hardest working people that exist.

If productivity was a rulestick to measure with, SJ types would win out everytime.

I think that NT types in general are certainly more imaginative and have the ability to do great things, especially involving theoretical and complex problem solving. I find SJ types have no patience when dealing with theory.

I would consider myself to be a very good strategist, and the SJ types would be good tacticians. Together great things can we accomplished, but generally the NT needs to be in charge. SJs don't do so well when in charge of NT types, you don't know how to apply us, because you micromanage and consider our strongest abilities to be a waste of time.

INTJs? Hmmmm, well, the first negative thing that springs to my mind is that they linger on theoretical concepts for way too long and they're always focusing the negatives of any person/situation and not the positives. We'd sometimes talk right past each other too, which was a weird and shocking new experience for me considering that I've never dealt with any other intuitives in my life and still haven't (I don't think). I have learned that it takes just a bit more effort to communicate with them and sometimes we may not get through to each other. I'm sure they're not all that way though, just my experience so far.

Also, I don't perceive them to think they are god any more than any other T type so I can't single them out on that. lol

Well, my SJ side says:

1. They keep giving me vague advice that seems inapplicable to my specific situation.

2. They gloss over the details of what I say and read things into my statements that I didn't intend, even if I specifically stated I didn't mean what they read into it initially.

3. They often perform their tasks in a very sloppy or unexpected manner, and don't take the time to study the correct way of doing things.

4. If in a position of authority, they often keep changing the way the things are organized so that I often don't know from day to day what I'm supposed to be looking for, where, or why.

5. They often forget to do things I was counting on them to do, completely throwing off my other plans.

These are things that SJs don't do to me, that many other types do. So, thank you, SJs, for NOT doing the 5 above things most of the time. :)

The most annoying thing for me is when non-SJs are all of the following:
vague, and
in a position of authority, and
keep changing the way things are organised, and
do not inform or just VAGUELY mention something, and
expect everyone to know the new rules of the game, and THEN
blows their top off and gets all freaked out and hysterical when you don't do what they expect you to do which they thought everyone knows and understands

It was a joke darling .. It's my occasional quirky, bounce off the wall humour.

I do think that the majority of SJ (ESTJ especially) types are lacking in imagination, innovation and the ability to think outside the box.

I was fortunate i got a good teacher to help me think outside the box. My mother is an ESFJ and is more than happy to stay in her little box.

I find SJ types have no patience when dealing with theory.

Not a lot of patience full stop (in my case). Saying that though (here comes the contradiction again), today i had it explained to me about Dos, Linux, prompt commands and the old computers where you had 14 floppy disks to just run the silly machines. It was really interesting and i enjoyed listening.

I would consider myself to be a very good strategist, and the SJ types would be good tacticians. Together great things can we accomplished, but generally the NT needs to be in charge. No, if i was your superior then damn straight, i'll be using your strengths to make it a better company. I am good at seeing what people can bring to the table. That's why i keep the best, close to me. ;)

Personal interactions with NT's are usually really good.

I have never heard this stereotype before, and it is far from the truth. The thing I dislike most about INTJs is the obvious: lack of concreteness and clarity. Sometimes INTJs can be hard to understand, at least from my point of view. But of course INTJs can get stuff done when they have to, just like the SJ types.

I do think that the majority of SJ (ESTJ especially) types are lacking in imagination, innovation and the ability to think outside the box.

Yeah, the two things I do well: efficiency and concreteness (when speaking or writing). I will admit to not having much ability to think outside the box. But give a job to me with clear instructions, and don't expect me to come up with any ideas, and I'll have the job done very well and very quickly.

expect everyone to know the new rules of the game, and THEN
blows their top off and gets all freaked out and hysterical when you don't do what they expect you to do which they thought everyone knows and understands

Ah yes, this right here is something that annoys the hell out of me. Hate when it's done, because I don't know what I'm doing with the new/changed rules. Word to those in power: when you are going to change the rules around, make sure EVERYONE knows before hand.

I totally understood the whole INTJ thinking themselves to be God. It is a well known INTJ stereotype. Tongue in cheek humor for the win!
