please assist. before I go Te-monster on my ISTJs.

They have not always been listened to, blamed for stuff that is not thier fault and been a bit ill treated. But they have a new boss, our culture is changing, things are improving. I fight for them, protect them, defend them, work in thier best interests in everyway I can to make sure they have everything they need and are acknowledged for thier contribution. I care much for them.

So when I start a project and begin requesting things from them they all have turned into fucking whiny, mopey, cry-baby, passive agressive agressive agressive agressive, pussy, fucktarded morons.

I think this may be tertiary Fi peeking out rebelling a bit due the history they have had. It makes them the opposite of idealistic perhaps? Any thoughts on how to support them without going crazy on them?

What is your type, if I may ask.

What kind of project is this? How many ISTJs are you working with? Are they there as help against their own volition?

What is it that makes you feel ISTJs need looking after?

I am an enfp mongrel.

It is development and trasnfer to manufacturing of a biological reagent. These guys do the manufacturing all the time but anything new is a battle. Currently I have six ISTJs and one entp.

I work in marketing and try and have spent the last several years making sure the things we request of the manufacturing group are logical and have long term beneficial vision for the company. I try and make sure that the estps I work with dont change thier mind 47 times after they decide to get the ISTJs to do something-this is the sort of thing these istjs have had to deal with in the past.

So you are their boss? I don't know the details of your situation, but here's what I would suggest...

What you should do is approach the situation logically, without losing cool. Ask them what's wrong, and why are they complaining. Then after they tell you that, tell them how the problem can be fixed. Let them know what they themselves can do to make the situation better also.

no, not thier boss, but driving the project forward.

I treid being very logical-gathering required logistics, timelines, what resources they need. I offered to go out of my way to pick up substantial amounts of down in the trenches work so that a lot of things would be taken off thier plates.

What confuses me is just the bitter, negative viewpoint. Do you just have to show them via actions that you will make thier efforts worthwhile?

"Whiny, mopey ISTJs"--This is my club, haha.

They have not always been listened to, blamed for stuff that is not their fault and been a bit ill treated.
So I guess they have a grudge. Some don't drop it so easily.

I don't know much. I guess they don't feel they were appreciated before, and they're still annoyed about that. But I'm not fully getting it. I can picture it, so it doesn't sound unrealistic, but I'll have to think more about "why". (continued later)
