[INTJ] Is it possible to slip into an NiTi loop as an INTJ?

I've tested as an INTJ on various sites and everything checks out. But sometimes I find myself constantly getting myself into bouts of exploration in which I obsessively attempt research the background and context of a fictional world or some political/historical niche, and this is very much Ni-Ti loop behavior. Is there an explanation for this? Is this healthy?
