Im trying to come up with a system to easily MBTI-type countries in a given period of time.

If anybody has ever played Sid Meyer's Civilization 5, evey nation/leader has some dominant qualities that determines their AI and favors a spesific way of playing that nation.
And these qualities reflect the actual empire in a given time. Like feudal japan has «militaristic» as a dominant quality and will likely go for a millitary vicory etc.

Naturally, countries change all the time in the real world, and japan would no longer be concidered militaristic etc.

Just for fun it would be interesting to set up a quick way of categorically identify the type of country in a given time period with dominant qualities corresponding to the 8 functions in MBTI.

--Every function can correspond to more than one quality--

Like, if i say that «imperialistic» is a quality that corresponds to -Te:

Imperialistic – Imposing influence over foreingn countries based on a notion of superiority.

Naturally this does in no way define -Te. But is more -Te than -Fe, don't you think? Just for fun, right.

Another quality then:

Collective – Placing group interest above individual potential. Even distribution of wealth and power as opposed to one's oppurtunity to attain more than others.

Would be more -Fe, than -Fi?

Traditionalistic – Dedication to some fixed morals for society. Can be rules set by a morarch or an unspoken bias for a pattern of behavior.

-Si?

Creative – A platform for easily gaining new ideas and spreading them without control (governmental or otherwise).
-Ie?

Etc.

So then if we have a good number of different qualities corresponding to the 8 functions, we identify the two strongest and get a type.

The British empire in her period of expansion would have «imperialistic» and «traditionalistic»
as two of the mayor qualities. So in a period of military expansion would be ESTJ and ISTJ in the periods in between?

So if anyone would like to contribute with any ideas as mine are not the best.. please do. If we have enough, we select the best and make some final tool for identifying:

Keep in mind, a country should not end up having two dominant qualities that directly contradict eachother in terms of functions.
