Understanding, creating original works, inventing, etc. Most of this is never realized due to laziness, lack of motivation, lack of opportunity, constant roadblocks and BS from others, etc. INTPs are one of the only types that (strive to) do things properly. That is, they try to think of the ideal version of something, or the best way to do something, or a better way to do things, or a way to make things better, then they try to make that happen, rather than just doing the same old thing. INTJs and ENTPs can be similar, but their preference for getting things done over creating something clean, elegant, cohesive, etc, weakens them in that area.

To quote from the first page. Seeing the potentiality within external objects (Ne), and manipulating it to serve the all-uniting inner agenda of logic and order (Ti).

INTP's were made to be theorist. It's possible to be theorist even without the aid of technology. Just ask the native-americans who speculated the origins of humans. INTP's were probably useful in coming up with ideas and theories. However, the downside is that there's no writing to pass down the thoughts.

I don't feel like putting too much thought into this, but what I can say is that every type is equally useful and intelligent, it just depends on what kind of intelligence, as well as what each type is best suited to.

uhhhh what does that have to do with the thread topic? Nobody claimed types are more than others intelligent here.
