What are your short term and long term ambitions?

mine are:

save money
get a degree
work around and get as many jobs as possible
start my own technology company
hopefully can get involved in space exploration or life science
get rich
invent something that can have an impact on humanity
bring political change to my country

Leave a lasting legacy that will have helped people in some way.

I try to build things that help people. Profits are dull when it isn't rooted in something of substance or genuine passion to do well onto others.

my ambitions:
travel alot
work with many different kinds of people ( religious wise, ethnicity wise, etc...)
sleeping well at night knowing that as long as people die of disasters, diseases, and genocide I'll always be well employed.

Man I love ENTPs. So much possibility, so much energy. I have a dear ENTP friend and approaching him is like walking into an idea tornado. I drive home completely detached from reality (Reality Distortion Field) CONVINCED that within the month we will be millionaires. Of course we never are because he needs people who will accomplish his mad, brilliant ideas... which is definitely not me.

Add this to ENTP ambitions:

Acquire capable minions.

Your absence on Vent still tears my soul asunder.

The once developing fluffiness of me is rapidly disintegrating to dust.

As for OP, I wanna live the 21st Century All-American Dream: do nothing and be paid for it.

Actually tonight I had an idea for a Juke Box program I've never seen implemented.

I wonder, as I oft do....

Tis but a ghost you seek; for within you will find fluffiness aplenty while remaining outside will cause you to wither.

Yet should you truly be forlorn, I'd advice thee to seek out your local ENFP :smooch:

To chase a ghost is infinitely preferable to stagnation.

I have no local mystics to pursue :(

Outside withering I shall remain.

Stagnation by any other name is perhaps not stagnation, but illumination ;)

Yet I hear your plea; local is perhaps incorrect a term.

Somehow I do not doubt, however, that your seeker-eyes can identify the virtual yet local mystics around. *points at NF-Forum*

If vent be thy dwelling, there too mystics frolick

Seek thee out Vasilisa The Wise, Helen The True, Nijntje The Crazy, Senza The Tempered or Lady Lex of Cats.

Your wisdom ascends plateaus eagles naught dare venture.

*sets sights on NF forum*

Aww, yay!

I did proffer the hand of friendship but the thing ran away after a brief splurge of information.

Jtr, you can run, but you can't hide.

I want to go to college for electrical computer engineering with a focus on digital image processing, I want to learn C, C++ and Java and I want to learn the workings of Unix. I want to learn everything there is to know about sampling, reconstruction, low-pass filters, the different domains of processing, color theory, psychovisual optimizations, gamma correction, et cetera. I also want to live on campus so I can get away from home and be independent for a while, maybe even meet a nice guy. :)

Of course the problem is getting the ball rolling.
