Boring is just nothing in common. But isn't flying under the radar a violation of ENTJness? Wouldn't it be more ENTJ and efficient for you to just learn to cut the annoying ones down so at least they don't dare
cross you and instead squirrel away from your presence? :D

I know, I wish I could but sadly i have learned to be around a bunch of isfp's...when i'm surrounded and like my actaul job but not all the co-workers, that equation leads to get a whole new life or deal with the people I'm obviously attracting.

ISFP's are literally stressed from others "complaining" and to them complaining is being negative in anyway <---- well that's all Te is...finding the problem in everything, making a plan to improve the problem, and then actually enforcing that the problem never appears again. Well I never get past the first part. It's like walking on a bunch of egg shells, i have learned to to be light as a feather. Even right now it's terribly hard to control the biased anger against isfp's ha ha...but i must ...because one could be right around the corner lol...this is exactly why i come to Type C! EFF THEM!!!

Sometimes I think I'M going through a midlife crisis myself lol...i'm only 25 yrs old though! bahh!

Midlife crisis? No. Learning that people are basically insatiable in their list of wants and inflexible in their willingness to accomodate a different train of thought. Definately. The problem is we've been socialised to not rock the boat if we want to get things in life desired. Our parents taught us that completely when they took away our toys for bad behaviour. People rarely grow past that social conditioning and what you are seeing is the majority 'fixing' the workplace to suit themselves with peer pressure. I work in an ESFP environment and its over-run with hedonistic feel-good committees who care nothing for what is actually produced just so long as everyone feels valued and like an individual. Nevermind the company will implode with that kind of leadership.

So what to do? Well you can either submit to the social conditioning and learn to produce the outcomes that they want you to in order to assuage their condemnation. You get to keep your job, maybe even get promoted at the cost of feeling like you've just traded your soul for a few hundred bucks. Or you can be yourself, knowing that others wont be happy about it, probably wind up on the Do not promote list and eventually start your own business. I've chosen the latter.

"sighs" You're my hero, ha ha I agree completely with every word ....(you just validated my emotions btw ha ha...did you even mean to do that? ha ha)
I know am just getting paid to be fake...I hate being fake, but I love my job...and I actually have thought about starting my own business...sounds SO APPEALING!!! GAH! that would be wonderful!
Anyways...I have been so rediculously stressed the past few years that I've become this other person I sometimes don't know...but have been realizing it's who I am...I was so happy when I figured out my instinctual variants because it explained alot. I think the SP/SO makes me so concerned...then I just have to say EFF 'EM and ignore those instincts lol...but at least now I know how to ignore them conciously ! :yay:

Also your answer sounds like it's from someone that is not energized by being around other people...I am fake for selfish reasons...I need those people/good interactions to keep me stimulated. Which, if I say eff them ALL I wouldn't have a way to keep energized...or I could just be using this as a lame excuse...dunno..still working on that lol.

I'd say you are correct. I dont live entirely cloistered away but I suffer no hardship if people aren't around to keep me company. Those choices weren't real choices actually. There is middle ground and betteer skilled people than me are successful in walking that tightrope. I'd say your actual solution is to learn to frame your wants and desires in ISFP language so others can see your goals as something less threatening, maybe even (and here's the idealist talking) as something they want too. :newwink:

That must be difficult to not be surrounded by easier people to connect with because I feel like it just could make the situation worse :( ..well at least you have Type C...sighs
Yeah; (And the internet in general, including my other interests. I wonder how I survived all those years with just face to face interaction, and clicking with almost no one. And my wife wonders why I'm online so much. Did you even see my score on that Internet addiction quiz? (I think that was here and not PerC)).

There is only one ISFJ in my family that I know of which is my grandmother and we get along well even if we don't see eye to eye on most things.

I've got an ENFJ boyfriend, an ISTJ daughter that lives with me, and an ENFP daughter that lives with her father.

*My ISTJ daughter and I get on like a house on fire; though we barely need to talk and we're always on the same page.

*My ENFP daughter can definitely be draining.

*My ENFJ bf is frustrating as hell because he's too kind and nice to people - even family members who treat him badly, whereas I would slam that door of mine so hard in their faces, they'd hear it resound in the physical world...

Family: Male side is IT (IxTJ & IxTP & INTP) and female side is EJ (ESxJ & ExFJ).
Friends: Majority of my friends have been NFs (INFP, INFJ, ENFP, ENFJ) since I usually get along with EN types most but my closest friends happened to be ENFxs, and the INFxs friends I've had are because they tend to hang around ENFxs for some reason. (I've also has one or two xSTP friends but not as much compared to NFs).
School: I'm surrounded by what seems to be FPs (INFP, ISFP, ENFP, ESFP) in my Art classes.

Yes. Most of the time I rarely can find someone I relate to, so I feel lonely. =(

Highly unlikely. But feeling like it a lot is part of being a 4.

I am not close with any ISTP's, and I don't think I ever have been. I don't tend to have issues with them, but most of the time there's just nothing there and we'll bore each other.

I tried to date my opposite and while the sexual chemistry was off the charts, let's face it, how much of your day percentage wise is spent in that activity? Very difficult to understand each other. Would require v healthy, mature types IMHO to even be friends. But maybe I'm just lazy.

A couple. My mother being the most important referent. Then a couple classmates and people I used to know.

I only have good relationships with them until they start talking, then I just want to run away. I do like their initiative, but I don't feel very comfortable around them. Like their personality oppresses me somehow.

I get along pretty well with STPs in general, I never was that close to an ISTP in particular but we do have fun when hanging out, however since I tend to be friends with females, and there are only few females with this personality, I think this is one of the reasons why I don't get to know ISTPs that often..
I have an ISTP female cousin and God she's gorgeous!! Her beauty is mind blowing!!!

My INFP sister is married to an ISTJ, although there personality clashes at times but it's pretty obvious they're so much in love with each other
