INTJs: please post your results to this cognitive functions test.

The reason I'm asking INTJs first, besides the fact that I am one, is because of a comment by an ENTP on here about INTJs being so consistent in their testing results.

Thanks

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Thinking (Te): Measuring and constructing for progress. Making decisions objectively based on evidence and measures. Checking if things function properly. Applying a procedure to control events and complete goals.
If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTJ, or ISFP

FROM THIS, it claims I am an INTP. I guess that could be true. I am torn between being an INFP and an INTP. I seem to have a well developed Fi for an INTP.

We have our first (legitimate) responder.

Very interesting results.

Thank you.

I don't remember the exact numbers but my most recent testing was something like this:

Ti/Ne/Si all excellent use (around 40 points)
Fi good use (around 35 points)
Te/Ni average use (around 25 points)
Se limited use (around 18 points)
Fe unused (around 13 points)

I suspect I've got stronger Fe than the test results indicate. I think as a strong introvert, I didn't relate much to the Fe questions the way they were worded.

Well those results would put you pretty squarely as an INTP, no?

Apparently, my extraverted thinking is kicking in again. For a while there, I was in a bit of a funk where I avoided it for some reason.

Interesting that they'd peg you INTJ from those results, not ENTJ.

I guess cuz Fi>Se...?

I can't see any other reason...?

Providing data with the most sensotard profile yet.

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Theorist; secondly Catalyst; then Stabilizer; and lastly, Improviser.

Well, did they really give you INTJ for that?

The "Matches INTJ" message isn't exactly what they spit out when they give the results, so...

Anyway, those would be rather odd results for an INTJ, cuz introverted Intuiting (Ni) should be the INTJs highest score, yet it comes in at 4th for you...

Your first and third functions (Te and Fi, respectively) come in as expected, but one would expect Ni to come out ahead of it...

This could just be a case of you not liking the wording of the questions for Ni... or it could be something else...

You might not fit a type all that well... you could be similar to some kinda TJ, but with high-scoring judging functions, and low-scoring perceiving functions...

Odd that they would peg you as ENTP above INTJ for those results, and not even offer INTJ as an option... it looks very much split between INTJ/ENTP... with tertiary Fi coming in well above tertiary Fe...

Yes and Se way over Si.

I think the test doesn't always do a great job of differentiating between Ni/Ne and Te/Ti. I certainly am not a native Ti user. Certainly is indicative of where I'm at in my development, though, or what flavour INTJ I am with Te down to below Se and Fi.

Plus, I said "certainly" twice. :D

It most certainly is...

I find it interesting to see all this differentiation among us...

Only one person thus far has results similar to my own...

And she happens to be one of my favorite on the site...
