I haven't really thought about this beyond the fact of hormones wanting me to mate with the 'best' (biologically speaking) person out there, but in review (a quick one, but one none the less) I'd say even an attempt at trying to understand and not scoff my crazier ideas is needed otherwise I will feel a sense of rejection. Intellectual equal? I don't find myself any smarter than most so I suppose that isn't needed as much as the other having a large 'heart'.

I'm not an NT (although I test as one), but I share many traits.

For me it's easy to pick. Heart, then mind, then body.

You need all three for a functioning relationship, I´d say (if by body you mean physical/sexual attraction, not just looks).

In my experience:

heart + body = passionate short term fling, but little substance
heart + mind = intimate friendship, platonic relationship
mind + body = intellectual f*ck buddies, can be fun but is ultimately unfulfilling

If you ask me what lasts the longest, I´d go with mind.

I just didn't make the connection between a heart representing "emotions/love". I thought "well... the brain produces the feeling of attachment, and understanding!! Everything-in-one answer?!?! I'LL TAKE IT! "
