If you're a Thinking type, have you ever made up something in a conversation or argument and presented it as logical, even though you knew it wasn't logical, just to see how far you could get away with it? Under what circumstances did/would you do it?

Alot...its all in fun and games though. I dont like people to go off with that logic and actually use it so its usually pretty short lived. The better I know someone the further I can take it. Its pretty fun to take on someone elses mindset and then to expand on it further following the thought process at which point I can make logical statements that follow there in the moment thought, but are not correct.

Generally, if I argue something, I do believe it, but that doesn't mean I'm arguing with a closed mind. I argue with the hope that you will argue back, and show me where I'm wrong. Argument, for me, is a way to arrive at the truth. Whatever stands up the best must be closest to reality.

Not if I can help it. I find it annoying when other people do this, but usually I humor them on the off chance that they actually come up with something good.
