I know a guy who I find it nearly impossible to pinpoint what he is. I'm not in a position where I can casually ask him to take the MBTI test to see where he falls, but I do know enough to know that he is a XNTX. I was hoping you guys could give me some input. Please and thank you! The enigma that is him is KILLING ME.

I find him annoyingly curious -- he's stubborn to the point where it is maddening. A guy who is going off to the military and says he will be fine leaving his friends for a year as they will still be here when he gets back. He seems to be an extrovert in the sense that he loves to go out and party and have a good time -- but then at the same time, he will stay in an watch a movie or play Halo or some shit "cause it's what I feel like" even when there is something big going down. He never sways in his view and always thinks he is right. He is NEARLY ALWAYS late whenever we meet up, but is organized and claims he is a planner.

He has the ability to emotional detach himself from people and never looks back. Except in my case. We dated for quite a bit and broke up under horrible circumstances. After me he was engaged. They recently broke up and although he says he was a bit disheartened for a bit, he says it's done and over. That he walked away long before that. Yet, he doesn't follow his own pattern as he has come back to be "friends" with me. I've seen him emotional before, downright scary emotional, but it was rare and after building up for a long time.

I suppose I want to know what his type is so then I can judge how I am supposed to act around him.

Any ideas?
