There really is a very fine line between E and I for ENTPs. We have personal needs that require us to be alone, or at least not engaging anyone else, but if left alone disproportionately an ENTP will go stir-crazy and seek out social interactions.

The fact of the matter is that ENTP's need an audience. They may not realize this need so long as they have the opportunity, but it's absence would definitely be noticed. When an ENTP is extroverted, they are really extroverted, but when they're introvertedly working on building their next doomsday device they are very much content to be alone.

He sounds like he favors Ne. Ni + te would be a little more focused in one general direction where he seems to get creative inspiration from everywhere.
