Being energized by social contact is the very definition of extroversion.
Fine. Then I shall depart from your definition and use Jung's definition, which addresses a person's orientation. An introvert is defined as a subject-oriented personality; an extrovert is defined as an object-oriented personality. Object-oriented personalities can be personal or impersonal; that's why Jung made a distinction between feeling and thinking.

Charles Foster Kane (Citizen Kane)
Howard Roark (The Fountainhead)

I think Charles Foster Kane is more likely an ESTP and Howard Roark INTJ.

You both seem to be right.

I'm surprised Aleksei gave up so quickly; there's a good case to be made, for example, that Dick Cheney is an INTJ.

My point is that nothing is obvious, which means we shouldn't be taking me on faith either. Even if all reasons are rationalizations, I enjoy bullshit, as long as it is entertaining, intriguing bullshit. Just calling something "obvious" is boring.

Oh I just wasn't very interested in the debate.

I actually prefer typing fictional characters, simply because I know more about them. I have little interest in researching real celebrities or politicians.
