INTP leadership? Isn't that an oxymoron?

I'm sorry, I gotta say somethin here.

Last fall I was a tech for a HS marching band. 5 minutes after camp started I was teaching section leaders how to hold their sectional. They were asking me questions.

I'm substitute teaching. Last monh I had a HS band job and I didn't know them either. Extroverted and bubbly as a bubble bath. "Hey run, could you be our sub every time we have a band sub?"

They were listening, responding to questions, improving, and you best believe we were having a good time.

A kid came up to me and talked with me about being as music teacher and how he wanted to get in, and figure out his money and whatnott.

Thought is not required to lead. Just being out here with people. I promise you, anyone can do it. Its just a choice.

I prefer to be independent rather than a leader. I'd rather just worry about my own job only instead of having to worry about what others are doing.

That said though, when I have been in a leadership position, my style has been to encourage others to be independent and self-sufficient. I hate it when a supervisor hovers over me so I'm careful not to do that to others.
