Patent-XYZ-LOLZ-5000:

A piezo sensor integrated in the valves of a combustion engine to precisely measure opening and closing behaviour.

The piezo sensor is a stack of metal plates, which mechanically widen or contract their physical volume, when subjected to an electrical current. Integrated in valves they can measure the precise opening and closing times, by producing a small electrical current because their phisical volume is continouslly widened or contracted.

The electrical current then can be measured and the data can be used to calculate an optimized air-to-fuel composition to lower emissions and overall fuel consumption.

I think a knock sensor does something similar to that already, and doesn't it use crystals of some sort?

anyways, I like to think of inventions myself, my latest idea was human wings, you know maybe some backpack kind of thing with wings attatched to motors and servos and whatnot, I'd love to fly like a bird, just jump off the hill in my backyard and head towards the horizon.

I have a few more practical ideas but I'd rather not mention it cause I might really pursue patenting it.

I have invented a device that compresses air while freezing it at nearly absolute zero, instantly making it solid. So quite literaly, you could build a bridge out of thin air(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH GET IT!?) Solid air is the pinacle of human acheivment.

Yay personal wings would be totally cool !

I'ld have liked for someone to already having invented an attachment for scanners that mechanically skips book pages, so you can scan a book. Had to manually skim 250 pages today -.-

okay back to the flying suit idea, I've just redesigned it in my head since learning that anti gravity is on the verge. So it's a backpack with a battery, electromagnet, the anti gravity engine(a doughnut filled with a superfluid which is also diamagnetic fluid), and the engine controller. Then the wings attatched to your arms will be crafted with solar cells and mini wind turbines to collect energy for the battery. The battery(whatever is most light and efficient, maybe lithium ion? I dunno) will power the electromagnet which will propel the mass of daimagnetic fluid inside to incredible speeds(they say it reaches 60,000 RMPS) whatever is necessary to lift your body weight, it will create the graveto magnetic field and let you fly, the wings won't even be the source of propulsion, but just balance, controlling direction, and collecting energy. RPMS need to be controlled for controlling altitude, the speed of rotation will be relative to the amount of anti gravity propulsion and relative to altitude, this is done easy by adjusting the amount of power going into the electromagnet.

I invented a new way to store cereal, checked Google Patent Search and realized my idea had been patented twice in two separate ways.

Haha :D

I got another one too:

A turbocharged combustion engine compresses the air thats sucked in to maximize energy density, when its ignited with the fuel. This thing gives an engine between 50 - 80 more HP.

The compressor itself can be turned by a turbine, which is turned by the exhaust gases out of the combustion. Therefore energy is conserved to power the compression process.

But at low rpm and with diesel engines, the exhaust gases aint fast enough to properly turn the turbine and therefore power the compressor. Due to that at low rpms there isnt enough air sucked in to properly ignite with the fuel and therefore fuel injection at low rpms is very low, otherwise more fuel than air would be burned and the car would give off a black cloud.

Resulting out of this turbocharged diesel engines suck at low rpm. To compensate for this, I invented the compressed air supplying gadget. Thats a compressed air canister, filled separately via a pump, giving off a burst of compressed air behind the turbocharger at low rpms, to compensate for the loss of air. Then at higher rpms, the system shuts off and the charger resumes its normal operation.

The whole thing should be measured and controlled by 2 pressure sensors placed before and after that turbocharger.

hmm but what about superchargers? they don't have turbo lag. I've also seen NOS setup with turbo so they use the NOS at low end to take off. But anyways that's still a decent idea for regular turbocharged cars like my lancer evolution :D

Haha yeah supercharger is the most cool thing :D. I dont know enough about their makeup, but I think they are driven mechanically by the engine, if they dont have a turbo lag. Like a mechanical compressor, Mercedes Benz usually has in its cars, instead of an turbine powering the combression pump via the exhaust gases.

There the problem is that some of the engine power would be used to power the mechanical compressor what takes away some HP and acceleration.

In my idea, there are small tanks filled with compressed air by a pump if you start the car and then you need no further power. Only a valve that opens or closes to inject some of the air into the intake.

Have to read up tho on superchargers, if they dont already use it. They are like the coolest thing there is, no question :D

Porsche has greatly improved the exhaust gas turbo it puts in the 911. They used a new material for the vanes that can withstand higher temp extremes. These new vanes have a variable pitch, allowing the turbo to spool up at extremely low RPM's and maintain full effectiveness all the way to redline. This coupled with the fact they now use 2 smaller turbos (another early spooling idea) creates a machine that has almost zero turbo lag. The new 911 Turbo is an exceptional machine.

Ya the VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry) thats a real alternative and pretty cool too !

I remember about it tho, that it is very cost-intensive in production and they are not sure yet, if it doesnt mold nevertheless, if the engine runs for a long time on full load.

The main requirements for a good turbo to be used with small engines would be that it is affordable what is a problem with the VTG. Its pretty cool in a Porsche, but if we continue downsizing engines and dont want to loose power, we need something cost-sensitive too.

I drew a picture of my idea nevertheless, if you are still intrested:

yea superchargers are belt driven from the crankshaft, yes it does rob some power, but in the big picture it gives back way more power. I forgot about twin turbo's too, I drove my friend's RX-7 which was twin turbo, one for low end and one for high end.

Anyways, I was in the backyard having a smoke the other day and images started flashing in my head, I immediately went inside and grabbed a piece of paper and drew it up. Then I did a little research on the internet and found that someone already thought of it, my idea was remarkably similar to the perendev motor.
However it seems like it's an impractical idea, I can't really confirm it works, but here are a couple videos to give you an idea of what it's supposed to do.

YouTube - PERENDEV ENGINE INFO

This one is questionable, in fact most videos I've seen of working models were very fishy.
YouTube - magnet motor FREE POWER PERENDEV NO GASOLINE

I also thought of similar concept but different design model, but apparently the type of magnet I need doesn't exist...yet(I'm sure it exists it's so simple but for the public anyways). I need to make a sphere magnet without the magnetic poles setup like the earth. It's hard to explain with just words but I need to make a sphere with magnets setup inside to create a monopole effect, all north facing outward and, and all south facing inward, perfectly balanced, the problem with creating such a magnet is managing to fit it together without everything flying apart. I do believe its possible though, I can picture it in my head but it's just hard to manufacture it. Another problem though is that they say it won't really be a monopole effect, they say the equator of the sphere would have a south magnetic field.

Yeah, that's a damn intresting concept ! If its used with cars, it would give driving a completly new meaning cause the gyroscope, if I may call it that way, would have a constant rpm and the driver wouldnt have nothing to do than to shift gears and brake. But in face of the oil running out this could be part of the future !

I do though remember that magnets, strong enough to move a car or to at least give a decent amount of performance are highly production cost-intensive. That could be why not much research is going on in that department atm.

I think I got your concept. I am no specialist on electrodynamics but with my knowledge I remember, if you have a magnet that i.e. has the shape of a square and the upper half is north, while the lower half is south, the magnetic fieldlines will emerge from the south pole and move around the square like a bubble towards the northpole. So they create something like an ellipse. So if you have a magnetsphere that faces all southpoles inward the effect will be accumulated and the inside of the sphere will be something else than a giant southpole, cause magnetic lines always make closed bubbles and I think this will create something different then.

If you want it to succeed tho, you could measure what is being created and compensate with an ingenius arrangement of magnets. Would be worth a study, but as I said, I am no expert on electrodynamics and my english sucks, therefore I could have misunderstood you in the first place.

Would be tho totally cool to have s spherical gyroscope in your car, powering your endeavours without fuel. With an appropiate gear box this can make up for the drive of the future !!

Thanks for sharing and thanks for the invite ;)

I think you understood just fine, your english is really good, there are plenty of morons born here who can't comprehend and spell english better than you.
But if we could get something like this running, it can power alot more than just cars, it can power airplanes, trains, electric generators, your home and just about anything and everything that requires energy. I've been interested in alternative energy solutions, my goal is to get myself off the grid(without having to pay more than being on the grid).

Check out this heat engine/stirling engine being powered by the sun through a fresnel lense.
YouTube - FREE ENERGY SOLAR POWER STIRLING ENGINE FRESNEL LENS
Only problem is it needs the sun, but it generates plenty of energy.

An attachment to a drilling machine that can be loaded with around 40 loose screws, which then are automatically supplied to the drill, like a revolver.

We actually developed different strategies on how to develop a solution and I choosed to draw this one, a more complex solution, where the screws are singled out in the can by the "shaking-principle" and then loaded in a band-conveyor:

Function principle:

I can hardly judge because I don't know much about drills at all, and some of the parts are labeled in another language, but I doodle my ideas exactly like you too. I need to brush up on my drafting skills too, I used to be really good but it's been like 6 years since I practiced.
