The Exodus of 2008 has me lacking friends of quality to go out and booze with on the weekends. Thus, I reluctantly turn to my ISTJ auditor roommate for the F-U-N! I find that I am an afterthought.

See the below dialogue to analyze my lamentable experience:

ME: Actually, one more question. When do you leave and return from your weekend excursion?

ROOMMATE: Leaving saturday probably around noon. Returning Sunday morning.

ME: Soooo, does this mean you have plans tonight? OR! Does this mean you want to venture out in the yunk with your favored roommate to hang out and booze in moderate proportions?

ROOMMATE: Currently no plans for tonight. If plans should arise though, you are obviously more than welcome to partake.

ME: I am fascinated by your ability to deny my proposed suggestion and politely extend a potential invite in less than three sentences.

ROOMMATE: There was no denial, simply the opening of another door.

ME: Yes, I therefore abnegate and yield to this portal of recreational enjoyment en masse.

See, I ended it with a positive twist, but inside I was somewhat annoyed. I cannot entirely pinpoint why, except for the fact that I don't like having to ask to jump on the bandwagon. It's embarrassing! I want a direct invite! It took great energy on my part to request that we hang out and pitch a plan in the first place.

I want to be wanted, damnit!

Please aid me in analyzing my feelings. Thanks.
