What about Dostoevsky? All his novels include deep characterization and insights into human nature.

William Blake?

I have trouble deciding if Novalis was more INFP or ISFP.

I say Keats was INFP

INFJ.

He was more of a visionary than a poet. His work is far more structured than that of Kierkegaard the INFP. Some of his arguments are very rigorous relevant and relevant to his inner quest.(Ti)

Unlike an Extroverted Intuitive he seems to have one grand vision which seems to flow in a rather sequential fashion always leading back to the core of his beliefs. (Introverted Intuition sees ideas in terms of how they relate to the subject's mind, Extroverted Intuition sees ideas as they relate to the world. Since Extroverted Intuition does not relate to the subject directly, it often tends to be very scattered).

For contrast between these two faculties, compare the literature of Dostoevsky and Tolstoy.

Read Brothers Karamazov and then War and Peace.

Can you give me a real-life example of how this works?

Oh? Nice. Love her... Gotta be the only singer who really can be actress too. Which makes it interesting is that Johnny Depp proved to be able to sing as well. Pattern emerges...

When an INJ presents a vision. It is often centered around one theme. As for example, with Nietzsche and his Will to Power. Everything starts with this idea, implicitly or explicitly, and ends there.

With an ENP, many objects are explored simultaneously. There is no such anchor as the one described above for the ENP. (Unless they have a highly developed Introverted judgment.)

Is Tolstoy a dominant Extroverted Intuitive? If so, could you give an example of a writer who is a dominant Introverted Feeler, and auxiliary Extroverted Intuitive?

well... are you SURE that you're an INFP? every type has some members they may not want to associate with. however, the idea that you find everyone in your type boring seems odd to me. maybe you're an ENFP???
