OP: Perhaps you're one of those less extroverted extroverts? I would imagine that this is a matter of degree. Extroverts have their introvert moments, and introverts have their extrovert moments too, methinks.

Back to the OP: so, you were hungover, bored, and exhausted... and you were surprised that you weren't your usual self?

Nah, the OP experience does not make a person introverted. I tend to think if you have to ask, then you're probably extroverted. I think a lot of shy extroverts think they are introverts, and I notice some people romanticize introversion because it sounds "deep" to them, so then they think they are introverts since they are not loud & shallow.

Being an introvert does not mean you are quiet all the time either. I can be talkative and animated with people I know well on subjects that catch my interest, but overall I give the impression of being quiet/calm, because I mostly am reserved to conserve energy, and I find myself lapsing into reverie very easily.

I think the fact that you were already hungover had a lot to do with it.

Yeah, me too. I'm probably more introverted than the OP.

Or maybe just older and I've already learned my socializing limits.

I know what you mean. Just today I went to a Luau party where we were watching the US Ghana game, and for the entire time I only spoke a few sentences to one friend of mine. They were all Ss but I found that I had absolutely nothing to talk about with any of them. So I ended up leaving without bothering to tell anyone.

I tend to be quiet in large groups anyway because they're usually dominated by Ss and I just can't seem to lead a conversation with more than 2 of them. I just can't keep up entertaining Ss because I get tired of speaking concretely. However, get me one on one with anyone and it's no problem whatsoever.

C'est la vie.
