If you believe in existence of aura or not it sure is an interesting theory. I personally beliee, that everything and everyone creates some energy around them and I accept there is a possibility of it being colorful as the energy might create the whole spectrum. Anyway the thing I wanted to ask is do you know your aura color? For me it's violet and I relate to it very well. It sounds a lot like a description of an NF type, so I was wondering if other NF types have this color as well? If not what is your color? If you don't know you can take the online test here Aura Colors Questionnaire | Aura Colors. If you don't believe it being real at least it's an interesting theory and a chance to learn something new. :) Here is some description of violet aura Violet and Lavender Aura Color Personalities

Thank you for taking the Life Colors Questionnaire. Check out the life colors descriptions for more information about your colors.
Your Life Colors are:
Yellow, Blue, Violet

(it said all three of those but it's probably just yellow.)

Yellows are the most fun-loving, free-spirited, energetic, and childlike personalities in the aura spectrum. Yellows are wonderful, sensitive, optimistic beings, whose life purpose is to bring joy to people, to have fun, and to help heal the planet.

Yellows can either be very shy and sensitive, or they can be the life of the party. These playful characters have a great sense of humor. They love to laugh and to make others laugh. Yellows believe life is to be enjoyed. They like to live life freely and spontaneously. With a perpetual smile on their face, they remind people to not take themselves or their problems too seriously.

Yellows would prefer not to work at all, unless their work was fun, playful, or creative. They love nature, and often have concerns for the survival of wildlife and the environment. Dogs are very drawn to Yellows and often become their best friends.

I also scored 3 colors when I took the test: violet, magneta and abstract tan. You just have to read throught the descriptions and decide which one fits you the best. People can also have different combinations of aura colors.

Haha, I remember taking this in the dorms with some friends for fun. I couldn't pick just one... my scores were leaning toward Crystal, Indigo and Yellow. But if I had to pick, Crystal would clearly win. Others who took the quiz that day: my ex was Abstract Tan and Lavender, my best friend was Logical Tan and Red, and my roommate/close friend was Blue and Sensitive Tan.

A friend of mine told me I have a yellow aura, which I guess is a good thing. She taught me how to look for them, but when I tried I saw green around everything.

Crystal, Environmental Tan, Yellow

Not to be special snowflake-y, but crystal does actually fit really well, in the sense that I don't have a concrete personality of my own and tend to take on environmental traits easily.

I had an "aura picture" taken 10 years ago just for the fun of it and it was all yellow with a few red edges..."stress edges" according to the man who took it ;)
I rather refer to it as Kirlian photography (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirlian_photography). It's pseudoscience really. I think we all give out certain vibes, especially depending on our moods, much broader than just the vibe coming from the electrical energy we emit. I think the muscles in our face for instance give away much more about ourselves than the colors derived from Kirlian photography. It's all in the eye of the beholder anyway. Folks can believe whatever they want imho but I prefer to look at this strictly rationally.

Yes for sure this doesn't have to be real science. I agree with you, that the colors might be connected with just mood, but as I said. If you believe it or not, it's an interesting theory. I myself take this with doubts, but as I said I admit there's a possibility of it being real as much as there's a possiblity of it being a pseaudoscience.

yeah. I do consider it a (small) possibility that one day we'll be able to interpret electrical discharges to something useful. I dunno...maybe to even detect an illness or something.
But right now the pseudoscience is interpreting the discharges as colors and as indiciations of a person's mood or personality and that is anything but rooted in fact. Very similar to astrology, the pseudoscience, compared to astronomy, the science.
