[NF] How would one go about starting a small town in the middle of nowhere?

So I guess you'd have to find 75 people who'd like to settle in a new place and want to create a new town. Maybe you could get a group to take over some crap corporate headquarters or something and townify it.

Yes! That is my dream. I live in Louisiana, too, so there is plenty of cheap, unclaimed land to move in on. I might try going 10 miles west to Texas, though…they have slightly better deals than Louisiana.
