Helloz! This is a thread for all those who are or interact with INFPs to discuss things that we notice about ourselves and how we interact with the world. Note that if you share functions with us, let's converse. If not, how does your perspective differ?

For instance: My Fi has been hungering for a place that I felt at home in for no apparent reason, only the emotion: so upon doing research and filing away data (Ne/Si), I quit my job and moved to NYC with no family or friends for "support" because of that classic inner-flame Fi.

What about you guys?

I did the same thing: moved to NYC with no where to land, except the couch of a friend of a friend, with a suitcase and some other stuff. It takes some courage. Good on you!

I've had a similar ambition, as of late. Though I am gravitating toward a warmer climate year around to avoid the recurring winter blues.

I ran away from home in the middle of a massive economic recession (spring of 74), joined the Marine Corps (summer of 74), and got shipped off to Vietnam for the evacuation of Saigon (Spring of 75). Shit just happens. You soak in what's happening around you, and you realize you're not so much in charge of your fate as you thought.

At best, you just stir up shit and see what happens.
