Usually it involves someone else mentioning it and me thinking 'Crap! I haven't got a present!'

Yes. The only birthdays i remember are my mum's, my dad's and my sister's.

i'm bad with names, phone numbers and dates. i figure, if they're important enough, they'd come back. And so, no sense wasting brain space for them. (am good with charts though. I can recite the fundamental analysis and technicals for any stock that's in my watchlist, or previously played. perhaps it's because it's graphs are visual. )

I don't even remember my family members' birthdays... Except my father's. He was born on April Fool's day. You can draw some conclusions from that.

I don't remember my own phone number. I never remember dates and times.
"Oh ****, I missed the dentist... for the third time." When someone asks where I live, I begin the sentence with a very long "ummm".
